Die Cuts and Colours....
Did you ever wonder what 250 die cuts looks like? Here is my little mountain of stuff, I have aching wrists and probably repetitive strain injuries. However, they are all done now, all ready for the workshop Kath and I are doing at the Craftwork Cards outlet in Leeds on the 26th january. Have any of you booked? It is now sold out, so I think we have 50 happy crafters coming
As for the die cut leaves, well, my lips are sealed (but you are going to love it......)
So it's been a boring couple of days here, cranking the old big shot, thank goodness for Michael Buble who kept me company while I was slowly losing my mind....
So that is done and dusted, on to the next thing.....which I will share tomorrow but first, I must go for a coffee, I haven't been out of the house for four days and I have cabin fever...... x
26th July ? xxx
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you are making. I am already sure I will love it! God bless.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Kath....are you really ready for a class in July?? Very impressive but I'm hoping it is really January!!
ReplyDeleteEn, you really need to think about getting an eBosser! It is a remarkable machine with a small footprint and handles any kind of die. I so love having an electric die cutter and you don't even have to hold the button down while it cuts! I think we should get the folks you do so much work for to chip in for one for you! Or we'll hook you up with Craftwell and get them to send you one!!
I wish Craftworks would work out a deal with some company over here so we could get their products....shipping is a killer. I now understand why people in other countries are so frustrated.
Congrats on getting the die cuts done and hope you enjoyed your coffee!!

Hey - if cutting leaves means you get to spend time with Michael Buble I'm up for it!! Look forward to seeing what you're going to be making - wish I was at the workshop! Pat x
ReplyDeleteI was wondering about the July entry too Kath! lol Being inside so long has affected your brain Girl Hugs, Jess
ReplyDeletel'm wondering too! x
ReplyDeleteWhoa ... that's quite a pile of cuts you have there Enfys. I totally understand the time (not to mention the physical strength) to get them all done. The first few are fine, but that job gets boring very quickly.
ReplyDeleteTwo years ago, I was asked to do make-n-takes for children at a local County fair. 1,200 total. I selected to do Mother's day cards since MD was the following week, with vases on the front filled with various flowers. They turned out adorable and the kids had a ball making the cards, but the prep time was a nightmare. Lucky for me, I was able to use a Cricut to cut everything ... but it was still craziness. For me, it was a lesson learned - next time design something with way FEWER elements!!!!
I know your workshop is going to be fabulous. I wish I could be there ... but will be looking forward to seeing the finished project. HAVE FUN! =)
I'm looking forward to seeing what the finished project will be ! Sounds like a lot of work !
