but it makes a pretty card I think.....
Sorry about the lighting in the second photo. The problem is that I am very much a night owl, I don't do mornings, and usually when I finish a card it is dark outside, so not always the best conditions for photography. Still, you get the idea!
Right I used random.org to draw the winners of the votive wraps. The first name is:
Veronica Reynolds (Vicky R)
Vicky wins the wraps and this month's Papercraft Inspirations magazine
and the second name is
Peggy T
who wins the second lot of votive wraps
Congrats ladies, email me with your addresses and I will get them in the mail to you.
I'll post the winner of the Letraset Promarkers tomorrow, see you then x

Gorgeous card, Enfys! Wow, that die is certainly delicate, lovely but finicky I'll bet.

Oh my gosh, that die is GORGEOUS!!! You did a fabulous job with it!!! I can believe it would be crazy trying to get that glued down! Love it!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Teri
Congratulations to the winners!!
This is really beautiful...
ReplyDeleteI have your same problem, sometimes I wait until next day to make the pics, because when I finish my cards is already late and dark :)
Congrats to the winners!!!
Ardilla :)
I find delicate die cuts really difficult to stick in place. I've been given quite a few tips, but the one that seems to work best for me is applying PVA with a toothpick. So at last I've found a use for the bargain box of 5,000 toothpicks that I bought years ago!
ReplyDeleteI saw one of the TV demonstrators adhering delicate die cuts by making a pool of PVA on the back of her hand then gently tapping the die cut against it. She made it look easy but when I tried I got glue everywhere - on both the front and back of the die cut, on all the rest of my crafting gear, all over my clothes and my glasses and even in my hair! I guess you have to be a certain kind of organised for it to work
Such a beautiful card Enfys. Those Papermania PPs are lovely and I have just stocked up on a few more sets because I just love the blues/creams/white colour combos.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the lucky winners - have fun playing with your goodies.
Toni xx
Luv Luv the shoe card!!!!! fabulous card!!!! congrats to the lucky winners....I'm also a nite owl and have the same problem taking pics
ReplyDeleteOh that is one gorgeous card Enfys! I'm not a shoe person, but that die just looks so lovely!
ReplyDeleteAnd I do most of my crafting when it's dark too... And let's face it, even during the day it tends to be dark and miserable at this time of year... Yet another good reason to move closer to the equator! x
Oh wow, that shoe is just gorgeous!!!!
ReplyDeleteFabulous card and colours.
Hi, Enfys,
ReplyDeleteThe card is so beautiful. The shoe is very nice.
Congrats to the winners of your giveaway.
Hugs,
Guida
Congrats to the winners!
ReplyDeleteEnfys I love you card, so elegant and so delicate!
This card is gorgeous! Love the die. This is the first time I've been able to comment and publish it in a while. I have been writing comments but when I scroll all the way down there was no publish button.
ReplyDeleteLovely and elegant! Thank you for such nice ideas. BethAnn M.
ReplyDeleteCongrats ladies.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card. I can't imagine where you'd put the tape to pop the shoe up! Sort of like hiding the straps of your unmentionables under an off the shoulder dress. ;-)
Hugs, Jess
Beautiful card! I use the glue pens that dry on these tiny cuts. You dot the glue, let it set, then stick it down. Because the glue sets first, it does not ooze out the sides when you push it down.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous and I can see why you had a hard time gluing it down. I love the shoe but can't imagine wearing it! I would need to wear support hose with them.
ReplyDeleteOh Oh Oh ... Enfys that shoe card is absolutely stunning! Love that shoe die, and you gave it such a gorgeous home on those beautiful papers. I can see why that delicate cut would be so difficult to adhere, but it looks fabulous on your card!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners!
Love the shoe, very elligant!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty card, Enfys! Love the colors and the shoe. hugs, Helena
ReplyDeleteCongratulations xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful shoe - obviously a designer model. I think it would be worth cutting the shoe using DS sheet on the card. Pat x
ReplyDeleteI love this shoe card, that shoe die is very delicate! I love the background papers too. Wonderful job Enfys.
ReplyDeleteFantastic die cut. How beautiful. Yeah for the night owls........

Your shoe card is so stunning. It really looks delicate. I don't use my Xyron very often, but when I have fine embellishments like your shoe it really comes in handy. They aren't very expensive if you don't already have one and really are useful. Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful detailed card. Congrats to the winners of the wraps.
ReplyDeleteI am somewhat new to this but, where do you get the shoe die? Is it a cricut and if so, what box? I just love it and want to make it for a friend. It will not be as great as yours so I will have to keep yours hidden.
ReplyDeleteThanks a
A beautiful card Enfys and that die is just gorgeous.
