Another 'candle' border card

Here's another card made with the votive borders. This time I used a single Tim Holtz tattered flower as the focal point. I left the card blank and will pop a sentiment on the inside. It will live in my 'really useful' box until then.....

After so many of you showed an interest in these, I ran up to Hobbycraft to see if they had any left, I was able to get some cream heart borders and a very pretty butterfly one - see more of that later in the week. So the good news is I can now offer someone else a chance to win an assortment of these pretty borders. You know the drill, just leave a comment under this post and I will draw a winner on Sunday. If you didn't come by yesterday, scroll down to pop your name on that post as well

See you tomorrow, it's my turn to post on the Letraset blog, and you know what that means................. x

  6. I'm really inspired to try these now after seeing the lovely cards you've made with them. I'm also starting to think about all the pretty cupcake wraps I've seen.... I've always thought "What a pity I have no use for them" because being diabetic I don't bake cupcakes any more. But maybe I could put them to other uses!

  36. Beautiful! I'm always trying to create cards for a 'really useful box' but I just can't seem to create a card unless I know who it's for. I have made some and put them in my card box...over a year ago, and still haven't found uses for them. Wonder why that is. Well any way, love the card and would love to win the card toppers. See you tomorrow. Hugs, Jess
