Here's a card made with my latest find from Hobbycraft - a butterfly votive candle wrap. I have had quite a few enquiries from people asking where I got these, saying their store doesn't have them. Look in the wedding section, I found them there....
The card was kept quite simple because those borders are so intricate. I found some white peel off sentiments that I have had forever. I hate peel off stickers with a passion, but I really like the font on these, and the fact that they are white, I wish I could find more! the butterfly is a quick kutz die (I'm sure I haven't spelled that correctly, don't you just hate it when companies change spellings of ordinary words to something with a Z?)
So this week seems to have been all about the borders, and here we are, Friday again and the weekend looming. Our daughter is coming home with her boyfriend, so we are looking forward to seeing them, and I need to make some last minute cards ready for the workshop at Craftwork Cards next weekend. Hotel and train tickets are all booked, so I am ready - apart from a major bit of designing!
Have a great weekend, I'll be back tomorrow, see you then x

ReplyDeleteI know you'll enjoy the time with your daughter and her boyfriend. I do love family time. I don't get much of it, so it's that much more special. Can't wait to see what you create for next weekend. I know it will be fabulous. Hugs, Jess
