Sweet Little Girl.....

Isn't this little image adorable? She is a Sugar Nellie digi stamp, coloured with ProMarkers. I used a Nellie Snellen die for the label shapes, and the pretty organza flower is one I picked up a long time ago from Michaels

 Promarkers used:

Blush and soft peach for the skin
Caramel, tan, ivory for the hair
sandstone and tan for the bears
powder blue and pastel blue for the dress

Inking done with old tea distress ink

My horoscope yesterday read 'you will encounter some strange people today'
Honestly! So I went to Dunkin Donuts full of expectations of a DD experience. No, everyone was perfectly normal. I knew there was a reason why I never normally read these things......

I think you should have gone to Walmart to encounter your strange people. :)

  5. She is so adorable! I love the soft colors.
Darn to the DD stories! I guess you just don't get to meet the interesting ones when you are looking for them. Better luck today.

  6. Oh, this little one is so precious! I could easily send this to my little one and she would think I'd have drawn her picture (she always draws Grandma!) Enfys, When I finally buy my markers, my hope is I become half the artist you are and build from there!

  7. Adorable stamp! And your coloring is fabulous! I agree with Nadia...walmart yesterday..I have to use the electric carts. So I came across a worker who had 2 whole aisles blocked with 2 carts! I said (as nicely as I could) 'excuse me...could you...' She did move her carts so I could get through, but she glared at me the whole time, like I'd asked her to kill someone! And I glared right back, then said Thank you very much as I went through.

Love the card, the image reminds me of a photo I have of my mum when she was young. Beautiful shapes and colours.

  10. I'm also writing down the colors you used for the hair and skin. I would think similar colors could be used for chalk and pencils or other brand markers. I'm sure going to try it since I don't have the promarkers you used. Your coloring is so beautifully done. Yes, of course I'm jealous!

I'm not great with crayon, so I don't think I would do well with markers:(.
