I do love this little girl, she is a digi download from Sugar Nellie, my favourite stamps of the moment
skin ivory and blush
hair buttercup, saffron and mustard
clothes tan, caramel, pastel blue, powderblue and blue pearl The flowers were found in the wedding aisle at Michaels, I inked them to match the caramel tones of the card. I didn't trust my sewing skills to sew all the way around the nestability label shape, so just did a few random bits of sewing.
This card is for sale on Ebay HERE
It is fascinating to see how much excitement there is on most of the big TV channels here in the USA about the royal wedding. A few of them are running wall-to-wall royal family programmes already. A tabloid gossip paper at the checkout in the supermarket informed me that Kate is really an American. Yes, and I am the Queen Mother.......... It will be a fun day though, I am rather sorry we are not in the UK for it, there is always a great party atmosphere for this type of occasion, and wherever you are from, you must admit that we Brits do the ceremonial pomp and circumstance stuff very, very well. Perhaps I could organise an English tea party outside DD.....no, that would be plain silly
This is a gorgeous card! As for your Royal Celebration tea party outside DD...oh the stories THAT could lead to!!!

We will be in Florida for the Royal Wedding we arrive the day before. I am quite excited to see it from the American point of view! Hope you are well En. Kim x
ReplyDeleteI'd come to your party, lol. Love this card and the SN is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI love your card - it looks like a photo. I absolutely love the colours you used. As for the Royal Wedding, I would love to come to your tea party. I watched when Price Charles married Lady Di and intend to do it again. The previous time I was in South Africa and now I'm in America :-)
ReplyDeleteNow what's wrong with a royal party out or inside DD? It can't be any worse than some of the stuff you've already seen there! lol
ReplyDeleteI love that little girl too. I think I'll hop over to the website and buy it. TFS En and I do agree, about all the pomp and ceremony when something big happens with the Royals. I really enjoyed the last big wedding. Too bad it ended the way it did. Take care and... go ahead, throw a Royal Tea. Wish I lived near, I'd come if invited! lol Hugs, Jess
This is so pretty! I love this little girl! You are a wonderful color artist, Enfys. Just beautiful!

Beautiful card!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your card - and I love those sugar nellies too. Does anybody in the US sell them? I don't think so and I went to the web site but didn't quite understand the site and don't have paypal - I just may have to get an acct.
ReplyDeleteNana Jo
Tea parties are always fun and I could bring some Walkers shortbread - lol.
You could give the party and I'd come, but only if you'd teach me how to color as beautiful as you do. I won the Promarkers from you a year ago but when I try to color the picture never looks like yours! Must be the markers fault! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
MizMaryAnn
Oh Enfys that is so gorgeous I do love those images and your card is beautiful. with hugs Shirleyxxxx
ReplyDeleteI would love to come to your tea party. It is snowing here in wisconsin. Your card is beautiful,
ReplyDeleteI just love your coloring ability, Enfys. It amazes me. Though I'm not convinced it's really you. I suspect you have traveling elves or fairies who do you coloring. The details are just too tiny. It looks like you have a number of blog takers who would come to your tea party, so you could probably get a number of neighbors. Show them your British.
ReplyDeletebeautiful card...and you brits do know how to throw a good party.
ReplyDeleteSweet Sugar Nellie image, and you colored and created the perfect card!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a proper Tea and watch the Royal Wedding with you and your Followers! Did you watch the 20/20 special on TV(the Telly)last night? "A Fairytale Romance" or something like that by Barbara Walters... it was fun to see clips of Charles & Diana's big day and remember being glued to the TV for HOURS so many years ago!
Hi hun
ReplyDeletetotally gorgeous card, beautiful image & colouring as always, sue,x
Beautiful card Enfys, she's such a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteClairex
Hi Enfys, Just had to let you know your lovely coloring and cards have addicted me to Promarkers! I also love the Sugar Nellies. Wish they had more digital stamps cause I have nearly all of them. Can't get enough of those little girls! I enjoy your tutorials too. Stay safe in Fla. with our crazy weather this year! Blessings, Myrna N.
ReplyDeleteThe card is lovely ! I love the tea idea ! I lived in England when I was child for a while ! I wish I could stop by for a spot of tea to celebrate !
ReplyDeleteAnna
LOVE the card!!! I'm excited about the wedding...I would love to be over there for it....my 13 year old Niece just got back from a trip over Spring break to London...she does not "get" all the excitement...plus she thinks Diana's dress was so ugly...haha we said you will love Kate's and down the road your children will think it is ugly!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this card. Great job coloring. Oh and Enfsy do have the tea party outside and celebrate your heart out, lol. What kind of hat will you wear?
ReplyDeleteI love this image and you enabled me w one...or two...or three of your previous cards to buy a couple of these digital images. They are just adorable...as is your card. I don't have copics or promarkers, but will color mine w prismacolor pencils. I love the colors you chose...TFS!
