Rescue attempt.....

I seem to remember making a New Year resolution not to buy stuff...oh dear...The Wow embossing powders are samples from the show, so that makes me feel better, and of course the new distress ink Abandoned Coral was a must as well......as for the other stuff, I hold up my hands, they were 'wants' not 'needs'......

Remember that back to front workshop card? I was about to toss it, then thought I might be able to rescue it...... so I cut out the flower panel....

added some texture paste to an A6 card....

and while the paste was still wet, sprinkled with glitter....

and popped the cut out panel on, then added a die cut sentiment (Clearly Besotted). What do you think? Good rescue? Now to work out what to do with that tag.....See you tomorrow x

  1. WOW!!! That card turned out beautiful Enfys!!!
I love black and white cards.
I have made so many backward cards. I do just what you did. Now you also have another start to a front (the back of the rescue card). Can't wait to see what you do with the tag :)

  5. Oh Yes ... this rescue works beautifully. The image and the background look as though they were planned to be together from the beginning.

If those are the only items you came home with from your craft show, then bravo to you. When it comes to my craft goodies, I am a very weak person. I would have been unable to resist so many of the amazihg products you saw.

  10. Pretty, great save! I got January's ink release last week, this one is next. I was shocked to find Tim's distress line almost empty, and what was left was on clearance? They can't be discontinuing it all?
Well love the card and nice looking stamps that you 'wanted'. Anyway, I know you'll enjoy them.
