I just found time to do this week's Penny Black challenge. The textured blue card base is Bazzill, the other papers are from We R Memory Keepers. The sentiment is by MFT, and the 'brads' are card candy by Craftwork Cards

I love layering borders, this one is by E K Success, punched in shell, black, and shell again
I have been hampered a bit this week in my cardmaking by the fact that it is just so hot in the garage where all my stuff is, but I have had to get on with it as I have a few deadlines to meet. I come up for air, gasping and in need of a cold shower every ten minutes or so. Makes it rather slow going......

ReplyDeleteGreat cards! I can't remember what part of FL you said you were in but I know just how you feel. It was 97 here today (just south of ATL) with a heat index of 102. If my stuff was in the garage, I wouldn't touch it! LOL...Hang in there!

Hey Enfys, I swear I don't know how you can stay in your garage even for a few minutes! It's just too hot! We're on the coast in SC, and it's HOTHOTHOT here too! I'm in my air conditioned Apartment sitting under a ceiling fan... and I'm still sweating!

That cat kicked back in that chair is just so so cute!! I love it. Love the layering of the punches on the other card also!! :)
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are so cute. I especially like the bird one since a Mommy bird has two little babies in my plastic flower basket against my deck wall. They have their little mouths open saying "feed me" all the time!
