Here's a couple more Anya stamped cards to show you - I seem to be on a stamping/colouring frenzy this week don't I? Looking back at the blog, I certainly go in cycles, either it's all Cricut, all stamping, or all some new thing that's caught my fancy.
Back to the card. I made the base card from Kraft cardstock (another current passion). The ribbon was slotted through slots made with the Martha ribbon slot punch. Image coloured with copics/promarkers
This one has papers by Heidi Grace. The ric-rac is a tape runner thingy that I have had for ages. Both sentiments are by Craftwork Cards
I am joining in with What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday - if you have a blog, do think of joining in with this, it's such a good excuse to go and have a nosey around other peoples crafty spaces
Not exactly on my workdesk, but sitting in a corner of the garage here in Florida, is my new cropper hopper storage unit, destined to sit in my craft space at home in the UK. Now you see what my problem is - how on earth am I going to get it home. Luckily we are allowed two checked cases each, so I think it will just be bundled up in black sacks and lots of tape, and checked into the hold. I have already stuffed a load of 12 x 12 papers down the side of the box, and plan to fill every corner with stuff.

and on my desk is this TRAVEL Bo Bunny word book that I have just completed for a friends birthday (male, that's why I used sludgy colours). I just have the back page to do, and it will be finished, for that page, I have lots of photos of them at home, and plan to do a sort of 'there's no place like home' page
I love doing these books for friends, they take hours, but I find that everyone loves them, and they make a pretty unique gift
and just to prove that I have been working, honest, here's a sneak peek at something I have been working on today
Finally, don't forget to go to Diane's blog (you may know her as Capadia) to pick up your anagram letter for today, and see what she has come up with for the Scrappy-go-lucky international blog hop. Don't forget, the first prize this week is all four of the newest Cricut cartridges..

Enfys,
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe I am the first comment. I just picked up my 3rd clue. I would be so thrilled to win the pens and would love the carts. As usual a great job...

Enfys, I love your cards and the book (I don't think the colors are "smudgy") LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about getting stuck on particular phrase of projects, it has happened to me too; particularly when it's something I really like doing.
I'll now have to check out and see what Diane has going on. I really miss her and JenC's LMSYHTDT classes. They were really great instructors.
Hugs, and...
I'll be seeing you!
Your works are again so beautiful, I love the colours you have chosen.

ReplyDeleteThese are so cute! Love the boots on the first one and the socks on the second one! Cute cute cute!! That travel book is great. I keep thinking I'll get some of those word books and do them but haven't yet. :)
ReplyDeleteEnfys, These are wonderful cards. I love the idea of stuffing all the drawers. Will you still be able to lift it? I know cut holes were the wheels are an push it to the check in. Then pop the wheels in your purse. LOL
ReplyDeleteI love the word book. I am working on my first one in my Gypsy. I sure hope it works out. It will have my granddaughters name.
I am off to see the world.
Adorable cards Enfys!!
ReplyDeleteI have one of those croppers like you have sitting in your garage.
I love mine, it is so handy.
You know, I swear I don't know how you can work out in the heat of your garage! I would be such a grump! I can't stand being too hot. I have a little fan on my desk that blows straight onto my face. And I'm inside a nice airconditioned apartment!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the album. You and a couple others who's videos I've watched have convinced me that I want to make a little album. I have one started, but I keep putting it off. The next time I'm at the table, I'm just going to pick it up and start!!!
Thanks for the inspiration!

Very cute cards!
ReplyDeleteCan just imagine what will happen if they decide they want to search your luggage!Reminds me of the hol when we were returning from France with our touring caravan. We had to unpack every bottle of wine and the customs man wanted to know why we hadn't got our full allowance!Love to see you explaining all the craft stuff. Sorry can't help chuckling at the thought. Hugs BettyXXX

Hi Enfys, so glad you felt at home visiting my crafting mess!! I came along expecting to see similar chaos and all I find is a neatly packaged cropper hopper. I do sympathise, when I travel to the UK from Germany I end up with so much to get back, especially when I meet up with the BG girls at the NEC.I still have things I had to leave in England.
ReplyDeleteLove your Anya cards and the travel book is fabulous, what an fantastic present.
hugs Heather xx

ReplyDeletewow...you've been busy. I have been too. It feels good to play in the craft room.
ReplyDeleteI have that exact same unit in my craft room. I love it! It is filled with stamps, but I'm overflowing so I better come up with something to rectify that situation soon. You will find a lot of great uses for your Cropper Hopper.
ReplyDeleteI love doing these little books too. Great job on it.
I've been following along on the SGL hop and having a great time with it.
Such cute cards and coloring. You need to visit western Washington sometime. We have perfect weather..not hot and not cold. We are all shouting because it's supposed to be 70 this weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, totally worth dropping a suitcase full of clothes for that - love the rainbow-ness of it! Great cards!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card and word book. Can't wait to see a picture of that lovely new storage in your UK craft space!!
