Over on Cute Card Thursday blog the challenge is FAIRIES, so I had to give my little Lily of the Valley fairy another outing
Stamp - Lili of the valley
Raffia lace - Paper Cellar UK
Labels 1 dies - Spellbinders nesties
sentiment oval - Craftwork Cards
and oops, sorry, forgot to make a note of the copic numbers
I have been so busy this week, the decorator has finished the kitchen and moved into the master bedroom now - well, not literally, but you know what I mean............and of course, a shiny clean kitchen meant that all the cupboards and drawers needed a good spring clean as well, good heavens, I found tins and packets in there almost as old as my kids. What did I think I was going to do with polenta? Did a recipe once call for sour dried cherries? What possessed me to buy FIVE jars of papaya balls? Amazing how much more room you have when you chuck out all the rubbish. So if anybody has a blog award for housewife of the week, I will happily receive it
Love your card. That image is amazing and your coloring is perfect! When your done with your kitchen ......
ReplyDeletehugs, eileen

Awww, this card is so very sweet. That stamp is total cuteness and the coloring is fantastic. (love the blues and greens together, it's one of my fav. color combos.) BTW, now that you have your kitchen cupboards and drawers all cleaned out and in good order, would you come and clean out mine too? I fear there could be many evil (or at least "questionable") things lurking in the dark recesses of every nook and cranny. A major Spring cleaning is definitely in order!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteHugz,

Ok,now... down on one knee......
Drum roll please...dum da da dum... I award you, Lady Enfys, the good housewifing award for the year 2010! (Don't worry about keeping up throughout the year though. Once you've got it you get to keep it.) LOL :)) Hope you have a lovely day!
Hey Enfys, I have two questions... answer when you have more time. I'm curious what you use to attach your card candy to a surface? Also can you tell me anything about Nelly Snellin dies? I've only seen a couple of places where they only have 3 or 4 of them. Have you used any? They are much less expensive than nesties, even with the shipping from there to here! Are they as good as nesties? Ok, I'm off to do some house work... well maybe....take care!
ReplyDeleteI think there isn´t an award for that JOB.
ReplyDeleteLovely card nice colours.
bye bye,Lean.
