Here's a peek at one of the cards from the quick cards section of Papercraft Inspirations magazine, on sale in the UK on monday.
My brief was to make a simple 'cheeky' Valentine card, here's what I came up with.
I love these sissix doll face rub ons, they have such great expressions.
I gave one of the girlie feet a ribbon bow, she looks very shocked, can't imagine what he's up to.........................
I really need to sort my stuff out, I could do with a secretary/sorter extraordinaire to get me organised. I am sure that even with my limited space I could organise my papers into some system that doesn't involve rummaging around for hours in various boxes to find stuff that matches. Maybe I will try and do it by colour. I do have my plain cardstock in drawers according to colour, that works pretty well, it's the 12 x 12 pattern paper I have a problem with. Then there's the two sided paper - hmmm, now do I file it under blue, or red for the reverse side. Or maybe all my double sided papers can go together. HELP. Anyone got any great ideas?
Love the Card!!! As far as paper sorting, if you figure it out let me know!!!
ReplyDeleteEnfy,
ReplyDeleteI love your card. So cute!!! It is published in a magazine, I'm impressed. With your talent I'm assuming it's not your first time? Great job. Shari (cricutrookie)
Oh, Enfys, those tootsies are adorable. Love the expression you gave the girl! V day will be before I'm ready ..
ReplyDeleteHow cute!! I too used to have trouble organizing my paper. I have the pattern paper is the rolling carts that hold the 12x12hanging files. Works great.
ReplyDeleteOh Enfys.. how adorable... love the look of the faces. If you get any suggestions I would love to know what they are..
ReplyDeleteLove it Enfys - had a real chuckle! As to organizing papers - all ideas welcome. I seperate flat colours into boxes. The 12 x 12 I keep in collections and by makers - and I spend ages trying to mix and match - then spend ages trying to return all unused to boxes or my overflowing bits box - ahhhhhhhh!
ReplyDeleteYour Valtentins-feet are really great. I like the card very well.

OMG En! When I was scrolling down my sidebar this JUMPED out at me. TOO CUTE for WORDS! (Will probably scraplift. LOL) I do my patterned paper sort of by pattern (which doesn't work BTW). Would love to figure something else out too. xxD
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card Enfys,i love your image and papers.

I love the feet and the faces are too cute. For paper sorting, I have some racks where I put all my double sided paper. My 12x12 sheets are in ziplock bags by type (stripes, dots, valentines, birthday, etc) in a milk crate. By books of papers are in tact in drawers. I am not so sure I am organized any more.
ReplyDeleteHahaha what a fab card Enfys,
