Here's a sneaky peek at some projects I have been making for Katy Sue designs, a lovely new collection called Shabby Chic, it premieres tomorrow, Thursday on Create and Craft TV, be sure to catch the show - the first one airs at 8.00 a.m
On with the duplicates, today I have a treat for two of you, gorgeous CD's from Polkadoodles. As you know I was on the Polkadoodles design team right from the start of the company, and now that I have left, Nikky Hall, the owner and designer who is a good friend still sponsors my blog with lovely giveaways for you. But these CD's are duplicates - when I was living part-time in the USA and travelling backwards and forwards, Nikky always gave me two of the latest CD's so that I didn't have to lug them back and forth across the Atlantic
So here is the first one, a copy of the wonderful Cherry Blossom Lane which you can see HERE
and Paper Boutique vol 1 which you can see HERE
As before, leave a comment under this post if you would like to add one of these to your stash. If you have one of the CD's mentioned, tell me and if I draw your name I will make sure you don't get a duplicate
I felt very guilty yesterday when I was reading your comments, here and on Facebook, about the old magazine pages I had clipped, lots of comments along the lines of keeping and preserving memories. Ooops. I tossed them after I took the photos...Never mind
Can you tell me if you are having to do that irritating word verification thing when you leave a comment on here please? It's all switched off and I try to make it as easy as possible for folk to pop here and chat, but someone said something that made me wonder if that silly 'prove you are not a robot' thing is active. Thanks
See you tomorrow x
I would love to win one of the CDs. I don't know if it is me or the computer but when I try to preview the comment after I set my account it pops the message out. If I had to guess I would say user error Good news, I have learned to copy the message so I only have to paste it again. Thanks again for sharing so much of your talent too.
ReplyDeleteNope, no word verification required!
ReplyDeleteI don't want to go into the hat for the CDs, as I already have both, thank you but I just wanted to say how gorgeous your samples are! I've already had the Katy Sue email about the collection and was feeling tempted, and you're luring me even further into temptation!
ReplyDeleteAs for the proving you're not a robot thing, Google appears to be imposing it at random on comments to ALL blogs, even if the blog has it switched off! At first they said they were only doing it to people who weren't logged in to, and commenting from, a Google account, but I always comment from my Google account and it's still happening to me at random times on random blogs. I don't think there's anything any of us can do to prevent it - Google wants to rule the world!
Thanks Enfys for offering chance of freebie duplicates. I already have Paper Boutique Vol 1 but would love to have Cherry Blossom Lane if lucky to be picked. Have a lovely day....... Sue x
ReplyDeleteForgot to say no comment verification needed Enfys .... Sue x
ReplyDeleteLove the sneek peek Enfys, now I am anxious to see it all. I admit being one of those that thought you were keeping your early commission clippings. I can completely understand your need to thin out what you keep ... space is a precious commodity. I tend to keep things ... I think I may be a boarderline hoarder. I need to curb that urge and clean out what I already have.
ReplyDeleteIn answer to your question ... No, I do not get the word verification thingy. Posting on your blog is actually very easy. HOWEVER ... after every post, I get a response via e-mail from the "Mail Demon" (whatever that is), advising me that they were unable to process, post, send, etc., my message to you. It's all very confusing, so I never know if my post goes through or not. I can see it in the comments on your blog, but the big question is ... CAN YOU? But then I guess that's a silly question, because if you can't, then you will never know that I even asked. Oh well, I can see it, so I am going to go with the thought that you can see it too. (*wink*)
Ohhhh, and one other thing, all the titles and subtitles and side menu items on your blog appear distorted. They appear in a different font, different color, and super, super, super tiny font which makes it near impossible to read. I am not sure what causes that ... perhaps a computer glitch of some sort? or perhaps I don't have the font you are using, so my computer defaults to something odd and obscure? Sometimes I copy it and open it in one of my graphic programs so that I can enlarge it enough to read it. It's not a big deal though since I can read the heart of your posts perfectly ... and that's what matters most.

Beautiful work Enfy and thank you for the chance to win one of the cd's
ReplyDeleteDianne xx :)
Love the colours, Enfys. Thanks for the chance to win one of your dupllicates. I haven't read your previous post yet, but I think you're brave to do some thorough purging. By taking a few photographs of your clippings, you have found a way to preserve those memories in a different way.
ReplyDeleteAs for the new Blogger robot thingy, there's none on your blog, and if there is, people can ignore it.
FWIW, your pages display perfectly, both on my iPad and on my laptop (using Chrome).
Cute as are all Polkadoodles images. But I've won two, so give someone else a chance. I can't wait to see the new Katie Sue things. I saw someone's video from CHA. You could over dose on all that stuff! Lol, well, back tomorrow. Hugs, Jess.
ReplyDeleteBoth these CDs are very cute. I have never used a CD to create. So this would be a first for me.
ReplyDeleteNo I am not a robot to post to your blog.
DeleteI would love to win the Paper Boutique CD. I have the Cherry Blossom Lane. Thank you for your generosity.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win the Cherry Blossom Lane and I haven't tried that format before. I just switched to Chrome over the weekend with the help of my son. Firefox was driving me batty. Thanks for the chance for this gem .
ReplyDeleteWhat a great offer. I would love to try and win the Paper Boutique CD, however, I do not have either. You are very generous in your giveaways and I wish that I had a chance to meet you when you lived in the USA. I know I lived close to you as you mentioned many things that was near to where I live. Probably shopped in the same store at the same time and never knew it was you. Darn!!!!!

Would love to win one of the duplicates. It's so thoughtful to share with your fellow crafters. Bev18105
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your creations featured tomorrow! Thank you for sharing your duplicates and good luck to the winners. I have never experienced verifying I'm not a robot, but it really doesn't bother me either way. I often wonder if you get a lot of spam, which is why they use the robot thing?
ReplyDeleteI would love to win a Polkadoodles CD! I entered their challenge a couple of times and love the images! Thanks for sharing and all those lovely inspirational posts!

I'd love a chance to win one of these. Thanks for the opportunity! I'm so proud of you for purging. Taking a photo of the item is the same as saving it, and it doesn't take up nearly as much space!
