To make you smile this Monday morning, five year old Monty was doing his homework with his dad helping him. They were researching a French eighteenth century painter (really? when did that become essential knowledge for a five year old.....)
" Were you born in the olden days Dad?" asked Monty
"Why do you ask that, son?"
"Because you know a lot about this artist, I wondered if you knew him"
I'll be back tomorrow with a video, see you then x
LOL Enfys, That is funny with your Son and Grandson. When my oldest Son was little he ask my older Sister if she was living when the dinosaurs were living. Great craft room by the way!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful craft space. Loved your story about little Monty and his dad. From the mouths of babes...
ReplyDeleteOooh I'm a winner - thank you very much!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing what five year olds learn about now isn't it? But I'm sure a broad general knowledge at an early age helps to prepare them for more specific knowledge later, when they have an idea of what specialist skills they will need.
Love the tour of your craft room Enfys, wow you get a lot packed into a great space! I got some of those wee envelope plastic holders and now have my dies all sorted, so thanks for that tip. Thanks so much for the win as well, nice way to start a Monday morning!! Monty is a sketch lol. When I worked in the nursery the things kids asked was something quite embarrassing lol!
ReplyDeleteYour crafty space is stunning and many congrats to all x
ReplyDeleteGotta love the things kids say! I'm thinking these kids express such deep thoughts, because they research anything at 5! Cute cute cute.

Enfys, I am in total awe that you can create such beautiful work in that tiny space. I had imagined that you had a huge room with rows and rows of shelving to store all your craft tools, CDs, machines, embellishments and other crafty bits. I guess it just goes to show what you can really do when you are well organized!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the winners ... I know you will all enjoy your new treasures.
Thanks for the tour Enfys and for sharing Monty's comment. Pat x
