This was the die I couldn't wait to get when my Fuse arrived, I had fallen in love with this little bird. So, it's a bird die I hear you say......but look, see all the birds in the photo below? I cut them all with one pass of the machine, I think that's pretty remarkable - eight little birds cut out perfectly in a matter of seconds....
You get letterpress plates with the die, here's the letterpress birds.....
The first thing I did was a tag, I used some Tim Holtz papers....
I put the word MISS in tiny letter stickers and popped a film strip on top...
there was a bit of stenciling going on there as well.....
and a sprinkle of distress embossing powder
Then I used some bright papers by The Paper Studio to make this card, I cut the branch by hand....
the stamp is also by Fiskars and followed the curve on the pattern paper ....
So I hope these posts have given you a bit of a glimpse of what this remarkable machine can do, watch out for a lot more in the near future, but for now, I need to get on with some magazine cards and catch up with my homework for the online stencil course. I am dashing around in ever decreasing circles here. What's on your desk?
See you tomorrow x
i am falling in love with machine. I love this little chunky bird. For my liking so many of the dies cut birds does not have enough belly on them. This one is so cute. Love your Tag and card. TFS!!
ReplyDeleteThe more I see of the Fuse, the more impressed I am. Thanks for sharing this information about it.
ReplyDeleteI've read alot about this amazing machine, but hadn't seen it in action. Thank you for sharing your birds with us!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, 8 at once! Now that's spectacular! The die and the letter press too. How much are they? I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to afford them. Ah well, can't afford a new machine now anyway. lol I'm in the midst of a paper bag min that fits inside a candy box I got for Christmas. It's for a friend to use as sort of a brag book. Only it'll be too big for her purse. Any way, that's whats on my desk. Hugs, JEss
ReplyDeleteLove the fact that you can letterpress as well. very cute birds.
ReplyDeleteLots of gorgeous detail on your first tag and the second one is so cheery and colorful. Cute little birds and what a machine that is.
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you're loving that Fuse. I can't believe everything you're been showing with just one machine. I can't wait to see more of your stenciling projects.
ReplyDeleteHi Enfys, wow 8 in one go that really makes things quick. I saw these bird dies and thought they were really cute. Do they work in the bigshot? as that is what I have. When I work out what's on my desk I'll let you know!! It's a bit of a pile at the moment.
