Mass Production......

You remember my mission to mass produce some Christmas cards - well, I made five of these before losing interest and moving on, that qualifies for mass production in this low boredom threshold craftroom.......

The stamp is by Woodware UK, I really like the sketchy outline of the word Snow. I stamped it in stormy sky distress ink and added a few random snowflakes. The center white snowflake is a Martha Stewart punch

A while ago, in my endless quest for the perfect snowy sky, I downloaded this free clip art paper from the internet, and used it to make four more cards. Because the sentiment is clear acrylic, I was able to bend it onto the block so that I could stamp it over the SNOW word.....

Obviously, I thought of a lot more ways I can use this stamp while I was making these, but they may have to wait until next year now. My cards are written and were mailed today. Result! I just have a couple more to make and I can move on. Every year, I make a vow that I will make just one Christmas card every week throughout the year, every year I break the vow. Sigh.  How are your Christmas cards coming along?

See you tomorrow x

  1. Love your cards, Enfys. I am struggling to get mine done. I have made about 65, but need to do another 20. In fact, I'd better get at it!

  2. Enfys, These cards are pretty. I love the word "Snow". I have to get to work on my Christmas letters after my company leaves on Sun. if we don't get terrible weather they may be stuck here. Great Job...

  3. Love that second card Enfys - clever use of the stamp. I've made all my cards, all my sister's cards and her friend asked me to make all of hers too. After about 170 cards I'm all Christmas carded out. Pat x

  4. I love the clean look of these Enfys, I am massively behind with my card, so really should be getting on with them, your card has reminded me I don't need to make them all complicated, thanks

  5. Thanks for the laugh. Low Boredom Threshold. Love it. I'm with you. I rarely make more than one, no matter how long it took, even if I love it. A bit silly really but it's nice to be unique. Thanks for the remind on bending those cling stamps. I always forget that!!

  7. Great cards Enfys. I'm afraid I will need to resort to some quick mass-produced cards this weekend now that I have returned home from my trip to Australia. Last year, I made quite afew cards all through the year, but this year I've really been struggling to make them on a regular basis.

  12. Love your cards and the way you used the snow flake in the center of the O. Christmas cards? I just returned from 10 days in Hawaii and am trying to adjust to very cold weather (1 degree F) after sunshine and very warm weather. If I am going to get cards done I guess I better get going.

  13. Love the cards Enfys.

I have a lot of cards 'part made' and really need to pull my finger out and get them done & dusted.

  14. I only do Christmas cards for my immediate family. Since finances are tight, I don't have the $ for postage. That said, I did make a bunch of them several years ago before the financial crisis and they are now in my card keeper. Ready for the year that I can afford to send them. Very cute cards En. And you've sent them off already! Good for you
    Happy Christmas, big hugs, Jess

  17. Enfys, the blue Snow card is so wonderful. I mass produce 45 cards for my son and DIL, another 45 for me...and I just had to slam dunk another 32 together to get the pack mailed. I am through making Christmas Cards 2013. Love your stuff, Enfys.
