Couldn't resist this little witchie cat....
and I knew that Martha Stewart bat fence punch that I bought on clearance would come into it's own one day (normally, I cut off the bats, and use it as a regular fence...) Love this paper as well, it graduates from purple to orange..I added quite a lot of inking to these cards, I think it adds to the spooky look
I really like this next image, it would be perfect for a teenage girl, and lets face it, they are the ones who really go to town with the make-up and skin tight costumes on October 31st!I hand cut a spooky banner to match the background paper, although there are some great banners on the download. I found some orange glitter letters to spell the word...
I'll have two more cards to show you tomorrow from the download.
I think the UK are catching up with the USA in going to town at Halloween, I was talking to someone earlier this week who said that her neighbour took a week to decorate her house, inside and out for Halloween, including a coffin in the hall. Yuk! A couple of cute pumpkins and cats, and maybe a little friendly ghost would be my limit, if I was going to make an effort (which I don't, cards for the grandchildren are my limit, but maybe one day I will throw a party) How about you?
Ooh Wow S Coffin In The Hall That Is Something. My Son Had A Birthday Cake Made In A Coffin Shape It Even Had A Skelton Inside And A Gravestone At The Side. Only Because We Had A Halloween Birthday Party. The Download Looks Amazing Keeping My Fingers Crossed. xx

Fab cards I have had a halloween party but my decoration limit was a few pumpkins flameless candles a cardboard skeleton , a huge siders web and plastic spiders (which I really didn't like as don't like spiders) and some ballons . Just enough to make atmosphere but as everyone came in fancy dress it didn't need more and the kids enjoyed the fun party games but not quite as much as the adults. Thought the kids seemed to find enjoyment in the adults apple bobbing then sweet dunking in the icing sugar. Fun for everyone. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteMorning Enfys,
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards, as always, but so cute & creepy!! lol I love them.
What a fab prize too, my 16 year old daughter would love to dress like the witch if she had the figure lol. Bless the children of the world for trying though ;)

Two lovely cards Enfys. Looks like a great download with lots of elements. I don't do a great deal for Halloween as our children are all grown up. But I do get a stash of sweeties in for the trick or treaters. Have a good weekend and thanks for the chance to win a download.

I love the fun of Halloween and it is great to see so much available in the shops over here now.
ReplyDeleteFab cards Enfys - those images are adorable.
When my niece was growing up my sister and I made quite a thing about Halloween for her as she loved the dressing up and the traditional watching of the movie Hocus Pocus. Don't do much now but occasionally have the odd carved pumpkin.
Have a good weekend

I have never understood people's fascination with Halloween, esp. in the US, but that may be because I'm from the Netherlands,,where Halloween was an unknown phenomenon until fairly recently. I have to admit, though, that your cards do look cute and I have to confess that I've been thinking about creating a few Halloween cards myself...
ReplyDeleteWhen my children were young I used to give them halloween parties. These usually consisted of ghoulish food such as eyeballs and severed fingers. There was even a game involving a brain made from spaghetti. My boys loved it!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win the download, your cards are great, especially the colouring. Hugs Christine x
Great cards, as usual!
ReplyDeleteFantastic prize, also, hope I win it.
My kids are all grown up but they still love to get cards for Halloween. Especially the ghoulish and scary ones. My granddaughter (a teen) will love your second card.
Halloween went by almost un-noticed when I was a kid and now as I don't have children we don't do anything for it. But one of my nieces did have a horror themed party for her 21st which fell just after halloween and it was really good fun, her Mum went to town with the decorating of the house and everyone came in fancy dress.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win - your cards are really fab x
We don't do much for Halloween but I love seeing what other people do. Your cards are wonderful.

ReplyDeleteLove this style - the Trick or Treat card is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteHere in the US Halloween in pretty neat. I have grandsons that trick or treat in my neighborhood so I put up a few things. They love my screaming door mat. I put it on the porch and it screams when stepped on. Two years ago a cat followed the boys back to my house. He is still here so they named him Spooky Hslloween Stewart. He answers to the name Halloween. You know I always love your cards
ReplyDeleteI love Halloween but don't believe I could do the coffin. I think it would be wonderful to win the digital download. Thanks for the chance to win some Halloween papers and images.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards! I love Halloween... that cat is a cutie! Great images! Have not tried any digi images yet, but I'd love to!
ReplyDeleteThose cards are fantastic Enfys!! I know that there are a lot of people here in the USA that go all out for Halloween. I never understood it or could get into the mood!! When my children were young I made sure they had costumes, and would help with their makeup when they got a little older & more sophisticated with their costumes. I would put out some cute decorations through the main living areas of our house...but that's as far as it went!
ReplyDeleteSome people have adult Halloween costume party's ...and I just can't wrap my head around it!! I must be such a bore!! Like you..I make all of my seven grandchildren a Halloween card and give them a SMALL bag of goodies...not all candy..that's it!!
