A video today about blending two totally different colours - this can add a pretty effect to dresses, fairy wings etc. Below is the image I coloured in the video, so that you can see how pretty it looks when dry............
and here is a card made with the same stamp. I used Tim Holtz papers for this, and a lot of doodling. I put clear gems on all the little circles on the dress...........
I have had so many emails from people wanting to know where the best place is to buy Promarkers, I will have a complete list tomorrow, but you will be delighted to know that Polkadoodles in the UK stocks the complete range, and has free shipping worldwide Nikky accepts Paypal and credit cards. For currency conversion, just type in the UK pound amount into the google currency convertor to see how it translates into dollars. Shipping from the UK usually takes about a week to arrive in the USA.
If you want to know if there is a Promarker stockist near to you in the USA, go to the USA distributors, Macphersons
You can email them at

I have a video on colouring grey animals tomorrow, all those cats, dogs, mice and horses that you may have struggled with (I know I did!).See you then......

I can see why we must be patience and wait for the image to dry. It is so lovely when finished! To have all theese markers must be just great :)
ReplyDeleteThanks again Enfys, that is such a beautiful card, love the colours and your bling. I so enjoyed colouring images in sepia yesterday, and thought I'm only ever going to use sepia from now on.....then I saw your new card and can't wait to have a go at that too lol. Thanks for your inspiration and you hard work in making the video's. Hugs lin
ReplyDeleteLove the purples. Do you need special paper for Promarkers like you do for Copics?
ReplyDeleteThis is `fabulous` Enfys TFS:) x

ReplyDeleteFabulous card to.
So wonderful Enfys,I love the image and the COLOURS.

This is so pretty, but I wonder, is it really this easy? I am not a colorer, so stamping has never really been my thing. Your videos make it look like anyone can do this. Can we really?
ReplyDeleteJeanH
Your cards are beautiful! They really do dry a lot lighter than they look when wet. I like the gems added to the dress. My dd was a dancer and this card reminds me of some of her dance outfits. I'm still crossing my toes and fingers...

ReplyDeleteHi Enfys, I had a go at the Sepia card last night, and couldn't believe how well it came out, as I've never done anything like it before and am totally unartistic. Thankyou so much for giving me the confidence to have a go. Can't wait to see what's next.
ReplyDeleteShhh Enfys! I had such great service from Polkadoodles getting stamps, that I'm going to order my Promarkers from them! But I wasn't going to tell everyone till I got mine ordered! Come on Payday! HeeHee! Love all you're showing!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful. I checked out Hudson on the map and you're just down the coast from PC. I'm new here and don't really know if it's a short or long drive, but it looked doable. After the holidays, I am planning on taking weekend adventures before we leave to go back to NM in June.

Very pretty Enfys! When I try things like that if usually comes out looking like mud! But I'll try again! Thanks for all the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWow! These turned out just beautiful. The colors blend very nicely don't they. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI really love how you show how dark the image is when wet and how light it dries. You really do make the blending look so easy. The other markers make you think you need a certified degree in order to use their markers. Thanks again for all the time and thought you have put into this, your fans really do appreciate it. ~Diane

Oooh, very pretty. Must try that on fairy wings. Thank you so much for all the time you have put into these videos, they have been so helpful to a newby like myself.
ReplyDeleteBoth of these cards are very pretty. I see what you mean about the colors looking different when they dry....looks real dark on your video, but lightens up on your finished post. You do so well with these markers. I just reread your first post on this & realized you hadn't taken any coloring classes. You obviously have a "natural" artistic sense in your works!!!
