Sneak Peek - Papercraft Inspirations Magazine

Every month in Papercraft Inspiration magazine, they have a Quick Cards section, where they ask four designers to interpret various themes, to give the readers ideas.
One of the briefs I was given this month (Issue 73, on sale in the UK on monday), was a male card, based on an old fashioned board game...............I really had to think about this one, but was pleased with the end result.
Here's the sentiment, can you guess what game I chose?

I drew the snake, I was quite pleased with him..............................

and here's the finished card - of course, it's Snakes and Ladders - do you have that game in the USA? The ladder was made using strips of black cardstock, the dice was doodled and cut out, then stuck on with a pop dot. The lettering was handwritten

I am finally feeling organised. Cases are packed, craft stuff sorted out and packed (one big case just for craft stuff, how can that be............), just last minute stuff to do now. We are down in London today to see the children and grandchildren, so expect a few new photos of the munchkins soon.
See you tomorrow

  7. I think that's the same as Chutes and Ladders here in the US. Oh you'll be glad once you get here, the weather is finally gorgeous! I complain about doing it twice a year, can't imagine 4 times, and flying at that! Only 1 suitcase for crafty stash, amazing!

  14. This is great ... when I saw it too, at first I thought of UPS (United Parcel Service) instead of "ups". Then I saw the snake and the ladder.

  16. Hi Enfys!! Haven't been on much this past week, busy with my son who is on leave. I love the last 3 cards you did! SO adorable!! Your snake is awesome, and yes it's Chutes & ladders here in the US. I never really liked that game tho, more of a "Candyland" kind of gal..probably explains my addiction to chocolate!!!!

I know you must be a bit sad getting ready to come back to the states, I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers for safe travel, and enough hugs from your munchkins to last awhile (I know, never enough tho'!).

*hugs* Enfys, and thanks so much for all your fantastic cards that you make, you are versatile! I love how you come up with so many original and fun ideas!!!
