As you read this, I will be 35,000 feet above the Atlantic, heading to the US. It's a milestone birthday for Mike today, I didn't have a clue what to get him, until I had a lightbulb moment, more of that another day, can you work out what his gift from me is?

Oh Yesssssssss ... I've got it Enfys. Is it ok to post it here? "You are going to the Big Apple to see the Turkey (or is it Thanksgiving?) Day Parade." Mike is going to love it. He may ponder it for a moment, but he'll get it quickly enough. What a fun card!!!

I've always wanted to go to NY, Mike was planning to take me as a surprise for my 40th, but by then I was heavily pregnant and he wouldn't risk it!

ReplyDeleteI'm sure Mike will enjoy the trip! It's one I've always wanted to make! But be sure to pack your thermal's so you'll be warm while you stand on the route! And you might want to carry fold up chairs and a thermos each of hot coffee, tea or chocolate as well! I can't wait to see the photo's from the trip, please take a lot of them. (I mostly live my life through others' eyes, because I'm pretty much stuck here!)

It's getting them from that to my picasa/google, that has been harder. I really wish I wasn't so computer illiterate...Ah well. I'm off to create some more... after I see what Mother wants.
