Anyone for poker?

Here's another cut that I found tucked away on the designers calender cartridge, these dice, that I cut at 3", then sketched the lines with white signo pen. The cards are tiny real playing cards that I found in the toy shelves of a dollar store

and the lettering is, of course, making memories, those little things are so very useful
I am a hopeless gambler. Even when we went to Las Vegas I just hung around shoving the odd quarter into a slot machine feeling guilty. I certainly don't have a poker face, if I am playing cards the fact that I get up from the table and dance around waving my arms in the air is a pretty good indication that I have just been dealt a fairly good hand.

Apparently Milo has learnt how to crawl. He went from nought to 20 miles an hour all at once apparently. One minute he was sitting there placidly, the next minute his mum turned her back for 30 seconds and found him in another room eating raw fatty pork from the recycling bin. This is probably just the first little instalment of the ongoing adventures of Milo I fear......

I am still working on the video, well, to be honest, I am still thinking about the video, but so many of you have asked for alcohol inks, it is top of my to-do list

OMG! Isn't it amazing how quickly little ones can get away from you!
I love the card. I've been saving an old deck of cards for just this kind of card. Thanks for sharing, I'm waiting for that video.

I know what you mean about the gambling. I think I'm just too cheap to throw money away when I'm seldom lucky. LOL Great card though. We have a friend who's an eternal optimist at poker, even after he's gone broke. Would be perfect for him. xxD

Oh Goodness, the exploits of Master Milo begins!!!! Love those memories!!! (some sarcasm, some real, LOL)

Your card is so cute!! I love the dice, awesome cut! I have to say, I have never met a slot machine I didn't like. Blackjack, poker, meh, I leave that to the rest of my family. But the one armed bandits, or push button bandits now..LOVE em! And yes, I have won on them before...fun times..LOL

Ya know..there is always a quick trip up to Cherokee NC if the bug hits you! LOL Just make sure you make arrangements for a hotel and plan ahead, unlike my Husband & I who went on a whim and found out Willie Nelson was in town that weekend (off season), and the motel (if you could call it that) we stayed in..I think I slept with one eye open.

But it was a fun spur of the moment trip, and the foliage on the drive up...GORGEOUS! Here is a link to my LO about it, if you are interested.

Hi Enfys wow love your poker card a very masculine card I think, Im not a card player but my dad used to be very naughty and cheat and he also couldnt keep a poker face as you can imagine.
Wow it looks as if your grandson is certainly going to have to be watched, and everything will have to be moved out of his way, just like when you have puppies in the house they are into everything,. With love and hugs Shirleyxxxxxx

Clever, clever idea. It is perfect for my father as he loves to gamble and will soon make his yearly trek to Vegas for some gambling tourneys.

I might have to scraplift this one! My sister and brother-in-law are big poker players. They play every Friday with a group of friends and have for at least 15 years. It would be a great birthday card for my brother-in-law!
