So this week the dare over on Daring Cardmakers was this inspirational photo - Crikey! What to do with that? But a dare is a dare............
You have to incorporate three elements, so I picked out the tiny metal hexagon shapes, the colour orange, and two shades of embossing powder to represent the different metals - a copper and a gold, both by WOW. I decided to make it a get well card that would be suitable for a male....
Not quite sure what happened to the colour in this next photo, totally bleached out, but it gives more of a close up view of all that stamping I did!
This is soooo cool! Love all your stamping and the background is fab too! xxx
ReplyDeleteI'd say you met the challange beautifully, Enfys. That pic was a difficult one for sure, and certainly not your usual style, but you still accomplished the task with flying colors. BRAVO! Now how would I have tackled the task? Good Grief, I have no idea. Perhaps using the clock, keys, and maybe a spring or rolled wires? It's not my preferred style either, and I'm sure my card would have looked nowhere near as creative as yours.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! That is quite a challenge. I'm sure there will not be any two cards alike. Great masculine card. Thanks for sharing, hugs, Jess
ReplyDeleteTricky challenge, but you nailed it.
ReplyDeleteFabulous 'guy' card.

ReplyDeleteGreat result!
ReplyDeleteLove your take on the Elemental Challenge this month Enfys. Shabneez x
ReplyDeleteLove your card, Enfys! And there's a LOT of stamping in there, indeed. Sorry if the challenge gave you a hard time... I had hoped I put enough non-steampunk elements in there! But you definitely chose wisely for a male carde - nicely done!
ReplyDeleteLove your take on this month's inspiration pic, all those little hexagons look fab!
ReplyDeleteI thought you used part of a background stamp for all those hexagons. It must have taken forever to stamp them all. Fantastic creation. x
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharinng this
