I drew a winner of the Card Candi last night, and the name that came up was
CyndiU
Congratulations, email me with your address and I will get your goodies in the post
Joining in again with the fun over at Julia Dunnit's blog for WOYWW, well, there's a whole heap of stuff on mine, unpacked from the suitcase and ready to put away. I don't think these will last long though - bags of delicious chocs, and some honey and cranberry stirring spoons, a present from Diane (Capadia)
and here's one of the make and takes I did, a cute fish candle holder, the fish is covered with fabric.......
and I found these lacy squares in a little shop, they are plastic, but look just like linen, so I can see them finding their way onto a card very, very soon......
and here are some of the really fabulous eyelets I picked up as samples from the show, look at those teensy little coathangers, I have some ideas on using these as well...........
I did try very hard at the next stand to get a sample, well we can all use something ornamental can't we? Not able to put him in my suitcase, so have to make do with a photo....shame!
and here are just a few of the things that caught my eye on the first day, rosettes made from cupcake papers.....
and gorgeous balls made from doilies.........
and how would you like a whole scraproom fitted out with eco-friendly recycled cardboard? It was amazingly sturdy, and the chair was really comfortable. The company was from Hungary..........
They even had cardboard vases to put your paper flowers in......
Here are Diane and Mandy, tucking into breakfast on the tube, on the way to the show.......
but we did have rather nicer food for dinner..........
I need to edit my photos, will post lots of inspiration for you tomorrow
