Let's try again - if you have already commented to be in with a chance to win, I'm afraid you are going to have to comment again below this post. The original post has disappeared into some dark blogosphere, never to be seen again I fear.
Thanks to Letraset for this month's generous giveaway, open to all my followers. TWO of you will win a blending set of your choice, see the colours available below, and start dreaming of which you would like to win. There are twelve markers in each set, plus a blender, all colours especially chosen to complement each other and make shading a breeze
All you have to do is pop over HERE to see Letraset's fabulous new look blog, then come back here to tell me what you would like to see on the Letraset blog. Be sure to leave enough information for me to identify you if you win. If you have a blog, please link to this post.
The post will stay open until Tuesday 24th May at noon GMT (7 AM EST)
Here's a Lili of the Valley card, coloured with Promarkers of course. All the scallop label shapes and heart border were cut with the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge
Well what a hoo-ha and furore in Blogland. People seemed to be getting quite demented over on the Blogger help site, the whole system was crashed for about 20 hours. I don't think they could have got more upset if they had heard that their granny was dead..........lighten up folks, it's not the end of the world. So apart from the inconvenience of having to do this post over again, and the inconvenience for you folks having to comment again, all is well. I must admit, I would be slightly more than peeved if it happens again..............
I have been busy, very busy with a magazine commission. Sometimes the inspiration flows, sometimes it doesn't. I had the ideas in my head alright, the problem was that when I tried to execute them, they just didn't work. I think I threw about twenty cards into the trash before I was finally totally happy. I sat for hours waiting for a stroke of genius, a dash of brilliance, until a little bit of mediocrity would have been welcome. Then after all this angst, I suddenly saw the light, and voila, there they were. Cardmaking is a funny old hobby sometimes
See you tomorrow
Love this card and chuckled at your camera mishap
ReplyDeleteI would love to see a tutorial on properly shading or adding shadows and highlights in the right places. Thanks for the chance to win!

Hi, I had a look at the blog and the new blending sets featured are a great idea to see what colours compliment each other but this could benefit from showcasing projects created using the colour combo's from the new blends and colour combo challenges. Also in general there could be more tutorials using the products letraset sells as they are good products that most crafter's including myself, will use regularly. The blog is easy to navigate but is not very enspiring and is a little dull, I feel it definitely needs to be brighter and have more features and interest for it to become a site that you would visit regularly and not just have a peek then leave.
ReplyDeleteP.S thank you for the opportunity to win the great pens, Laura
Thanks for another chance to post our comment for the chance to win Enfys. Your card is beautiful as usual!
ReplyDeleteI think their new site looks great! Can't think of anything at the moment that I'd like them to add.

Stunning card Enfys, hope that you are keeping well, love the blogcandy to. with hugs Shirleyxxx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card! I think that I would like to see charts of color sets that blend well together. I like the new packs that you can buy as blending sets, however, I already have lots of other colors and I would like to see pointers of what works well together. (skin tones, all the different hair combinations, as well as colors in sets of three for blending, etc.) Also, some lists showing the "must have" colors for beginners. That was a huge challenge for me when I first purchased my markers. Now, as for products, I've seen a snap on fine nib being talked about out in blogland and I'd like to know where I can get one.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the chance to win! ~kurlygirl Kurly-Q

Dear Enfys,

I love the tutorials. For me (beginner marker user) more examples would make it even easier and I also just love watching the outcomes of the tutorials.

Cute, cute card--you make it look so easy:) This is my first time looking that their blog so really not sure what else should be added. I think it would be great if they would give us some tutorials on how to do blending/shading. You have given some good tutorials in the past, but I think if they should give some too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat site---I love how easy it is to find your way around. I love the cards you do with the coloring---it looks so amazing. Would love to learn how to use these pens and how to blend them. Thank you so much for the great give-a-way----Nancy mtbootleggerz@msn.com
ReplyDeleteHi Enfys, Your card is beautiful as ever! I have loved your coloring tutorials and that is something I would suggest for Letraset to add to their site. I love the new complimentary sets of colors that Letraset is offering. Thanks for the chance to win such awesome prizes! -Barbara-
ReplyDeleteGreat card, love the colour combo. I already followed the old letraset blog and now the new look one and feel that is it not the most inspiring blog. I was excited to see a challenge posted and even though I couldn't enter (I was flat on my back following treatment) I still watched in anticipation for the entries which didn't really arrive they only had 3 and that is disappointing. They definitely need to get themselves more involved if they want people to enter. More tutorials or colour blending suggestions with images coloured so we can see how they can be used and what the effects are would be an idea. I hope they succeed with it as it is certainly a good way to encourage people to buy and use their products.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win I could do with a few more colours.

You are a funny lady Enfys, but I have to agree about the inspiration at times, especially when you need it, it seems to disappear, lol! But it sure looks like you found it, as always, lookin good! Well I'd love to win one of these sets, I still have not used ANY of these markers and would love to have a try at a new crafting challenge (even tho the Hubs probably wouldn't be so happy at a new obsession, lol) Thanks for the chance, wish me Luck!!!

I would love to win! (Is it serendipitous that I dreamed last night about finding Promarkers on clearance at Michael's, or what??) On the Letraset blog, I would love to see tutorials, and more tutorials. I love step-by-step demos on specific techniques, like you do on your blog for coloring various shades of hair, clothing, skin, etc...
ReplyDeleteWow, thank you for the chance to win this fab candy. You're so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI had a ook at Letraset blog and the only thing I am missing are coloring tutorials. I know there are many coloring tutorials on the internet, but Ithink it would be great if all of them were at one place. I'd like to see all kinds of tutorials - how to color red/black/blonde/brown hair, white and black skin ...
Hugs!

Oh YAY! Thanks for the chance for ProMarkers! Between you and Okie, I have been drooling over them for months. If I would quit buying cartidges (cough, four last week, cough) maybe I could get some. LetraSet's blog looks great. I need to go and spend more time there, I can tell.
ReplyDeleteI have no blog, but maybe someday . . . .
I really like the medium color set, but if by some small change my random number comes up, any color set will do!! Joy

Sorry about the blog loss. I would love to win a set. I'm thinking the muted set would probably be the best set to start with, but I don't have a clue. Oh and to answer the original question, I would love to see some beginer, basic tips and tricks.
ReplyDeleteThanks Enfys and Letraset
I thought their blog looked great. I have been debating on getting these promarkers. Thanks for the chance.

I haven't seen you on the boards for quite a long time. Glad your back on this side. I am so new to this blogging, comments, and last but not least a BlogHop. I have tried to follow but to my dismay I get confused and stop. Your card is so pretty. I just adore the paper. I haven't seen it around here. I have thought about purchasing Promarkers, but I'm not sure how I would do. I am very interested and if given a chance I would try my hand at it. Thanks for the opportunity to win.
ReplyDeleteI love Letraset's designer spotlights - real people using their products. I also think their tutorials are great. Now if I only had some Promarkers...
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance to win.
