Here's a couple of cards with a cocktail theme that I made for last months Papercraft Inspirations magazine - on sale now in the USA. Details of how to make them are in the mag............
We are looking for a new camera. Never before have we researched anything so thoroughly, and the more we read, the more confused we get. At the moment a Canon G12 is in the lead, but that could change at any moment when I read another online review that complains of some obscure technical downside. I have visions of going happily to advanced camera courses, learning all about ISO and image stabilization......... The reality is that I will set it to AUTO, and there it will stay. Anyone have any camera preferences?
It was Milo's second birthday yesterday, and Max will be four tomorrow.
Happy Birthday poppets,
Cool cards! The upper one is a shaker, right?
ReplyDeleteI use a Minolta, have had it for years and my hubby owned it before me. He got a newer model. Like you he researches everything...yawn lol. Love your two creations today, great little shaker cards. happy birthday to the boys:)

What great cards!!! The glass with the beads inside is priceless!
ReplyDeleteAnd Oh the camera dilema! I too looked at all the expensive ones with all the bells and whistles. But finally decided that I didn't know enough about photography to bother with all the extras. It all depends on whether you want to switch lenses. I desided a point and shoot was good enough for me. I got a Kodak Easy Share C190. It's takes great pix, and it has a setting that keeps my shakey hands from messing up my shots. It wasn't very expensive, under $100. And since I've got mine, I've seen them under $80 a couple of times.
Good luck with your search.
Hugs, Jess
Cute cocktail cards! Always so creative!
ReplyDeleteCameras are such a personal preference. I'm just a point and shoot girl. So I bought a Cannon and a Kodak.

Hi Enfys! Popping in for a quick hello. And now I want a martini! Love 'em both!
ReplyDeleteLove the martina cards. I have a couple of friends that would love to get one! My husband has a Cannon Eos and just loves it. It's a little pricey but worth it.
ReplyDeleteLove the cards. Very nice job!
ReplyDeleteAs for cameras, well I don't have a DSLR and probably won't get one. I like to have a nice little one that I can just keep in my purse. Although when a friend let us use his DSLR for a while, I did love it. But I can't justify the expense.
I did just get myself a new camera though and for a little carry around it is wonderful. It's an Olympus "Tough" and I'm loving it!
These are adorable Enfys! Love the pearls.
ReplyDeleteSuper cards, how cool that they were published. Camera's are sort of a personal preference. I have always done alot of research when I buy mine and I keep them for 5 or 6 years before deciding to upgrade. The one I have now is a upper end Kodak. We live in a very private area in the foothills and have lots of wildlife which I love and take tons of pictures of so when I bought my camera 4 years ago, the zoom range, mega pixel and functionality. It had the highest of all three back then. My daughter has one of the high end cannons with changeable lenses and it also takes great quality pictures. So it really depends on what your main function of the camera will be.

Adorable cards!
ReplyDeleteThese are both adorable cards, love the shaker style.
ReplyDeleteAs for a camera I am hopeless myself so no use to anyone else at all, I can't tell the difference from one to another lol.
