Printing on Vellum

This week's challenge on Polkadoodles is printing onto vellum or acetate. I used the peacock from Back to Nature CD and printed onto white vellum, which I then mounted onto a very pale lilac card. It does give a pretty transluscent look which doesn't show up in the photo. The cardstock is gemstone aqua, and the large scallop circle was cut using Lacy Labels cricut cartridge. I double knotted some lilac organza ribbon with some aqua velvet

I used clear shimmerz dots by Papermania to add a bit of shine............they pick up the colour that's underneath them, so useful. I didn't put a sentiment on, as this would do for so many occasions

I am getting ready to have a mega blog candy giveaway here to celebrate having 1,500 followers - crikey, where did you all come from? Anyway, I will be spreading a bit of love next week, so watch this space.
