Belated Birthday.....

Can Mahuntington and Mustavcoffee email me with their address
You won!
Here's a card I made with Wall Decor - I had this little sentiment stamp from Stampin Up, and matched the two up. I cut the light fitting at 3", in black, then a gemstone pearly cardstock, then again in a pattern from Que Sera by K & Co - I just cut out the lampshades from that cut to give a bit of contrast.
I used the Martha Stewart round the page punch for the squares, to tell the truth I am not to keen on these punches, I mainly use them for borders. I find the fact that you have to use specific sizes very restrictive. Here, I started off with a 3 1/2" square, and a 5" square before punching

I am still in the Lakes as you read this - this post has been scheduled, if Mr Bloggy doesn't throw a wobbly and mess up my posts. Back tomorrow with tales of my travels

  6. Great cards En. I just bought that cartridge on ebay and I'm still awaiting it's arrival. So I'm enjoying all the creations everyone has been making with it (kinda storing up ideas). I feel the same way about those punches. I hate that I have to figure out "will the punch work" before I make my card. For me, edge punches are usually an after thought and not part of my initial card design.
Anyway, I've rambled on enough. It's just been a while since I've been able to visit blogs :)
    Hugs,
    Kristina

  9. Very nice card. I, too, have a problem with the Martha punches. I have one set of around the page punches and although I like how they punch, it is difficult that they require specific sizes. I use both the corner and the border punch, but not together, which is really why I bought them. Oh well, at least they get used, right?
