On the Lili of the Valley challenge blog this week, the theme is 'here comes summer'. When the mailman arrived yesterday, there was this little parcel of Loralie fabric that I bought on Ebay. I love these golf ladies, and it turned into a really summery looking card.
Papers are from the DCWV Spring Stack, sentiment is by Judikins, I handcut the grass
New visitors to the blog - there is a video tutorial on making cards with fabric, scroll down to labels and take a look
We live in a golf course community here in Florida. Do I golf? Well the honest answer to that is not really. I have all the equipment - clubs, shoes and a lot of cute golf clothes, but getting that stuff together was more fun than learning to play the game. I have only played 9 holes ever, and can't imagine playing 18, I just don't have the passion for it. Best stick to cards I think.

Enfys, I love your card, somehow I missed the tutorial on using fabric. I just watched your video, what a awesome idea. Shari (cricutrookie)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great card and I love the image. She looks like she is trying to get out of the rough - that would be me:) I never thought of looking on EBay. The local fabric store stopped carrying the Loralie fabric.
ReplyDeleteHugs!

Oh Enfys.. I love the card and I am sure you look cute in your golf clothes. Hugs
ReplyDeleteAdorable, Enfys! I know several people this card would be perfect for. Fundraising golf tournaments are in full-swing here in mid-Missouri(no pun intended). I don't golf at all, unless you count putt-putt, but always seem to be tapped to work the tournaments. Maybe if I learned to play, I could be a participant instead of a worker ... no, they'e just put me to work after my round!

Oh En, you are a scream but I don't blame you me, balls and holes just don't go but I would definitely enjoy the shopping though.
ReplyDeleteLove this card, certainly made me feel summery, will have to get some of this material me thinks.

ReplyDeleteEfnys,
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love these cards made with her fabric. I wish I could find the material for the Gone Shopping but I cannot. I am thinking about ordering the Garden ones. I want to make these cards so bad. I did not see the golf ladies. I hate to put my card number out there but I guess I am going to have to. I have not had time to continue with the search but I will. I so love the girly cards you make.
Fabulous card, En. I hadn't seen the golfing ladies. I always love what you do with the Loralies. hgus, eileen

Very cute! I'm not a golfer either, except maybe miniature golf. LOL My brother says if there isn't golf in Heaven, he isn't going there. Maybe we could say the same about papercrafting. I really have to try doing some of these fabric cards, every time I see you do one, I just love them!
ReplyDeleteShe is just adorable! Wonderful card!! :)
