So I went out wearing a new pair of shoes. Oh boy, these were a mistake I thought as I limped around. When I stopped for coffee, I surreptitiously took the offending shoe off and felt around inside - it felt as if a tack or something was digging into my foot. Nothing, so onwards I limped. Before you all start making me get well soon cards, a miracle healing has taken place. It was fine when I got home and removed the googly eye that had stuck to the sole of my foot!
I'll be back tomorrow with another CD to give away

ReplyDeleteThis CD looks pretty awesome. The "googly eye" story made me laugh. Don't you just wonder how many times we've walked around with something stuck to the seat of our pants - never knowing why we kept hearing snickers! I know I've also been out in public and discovered bits of glitter all over my face. I'm sure someone thought "the old bag can't see well enough any more to get her glitter eye shadow on properly!" Thakns for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteA super christmas card. The image is lovely. thanks for the chance to win a fab CD. Your googly eye story did make my chuckle.

ReplyDeletePolkadoodles just keeps out doing the previous CD.........Love these.. Thanks for a chance to win and good luck to everyone.
awwww ... what a precious card this is ... love that the young lad is offering such a lovely bouquet of seemingly wilted winter florals. I can picture my son doing this very thing when he was young, or perhaps even his own sons!
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness ... I cannot stop laughing. Who knew a googly eye could cause such pain! I can so imagine myself doing this too ... and if not a googly eye, a button or some other silly embellishment!
Thanx for the inspiration and the smile!
Hugz,
Carol
This is on my wish list as it's so versatile and you know I love polkadoodles.Thank you for the chance to win.Hugs Debbie x
ReplyDeleteI had a similar thing happen to me.
ReplyDeleteI have these new shoes and wore them on the first day of school. I kept feeling something poking the bottom of my foot. I kept checking the bottom of my foot because our playground is covered in small bark chips and they tend to sneak in my shoes. Nothing on my foot or in the shoe but I didn't have time to check into it farther. Finally at 1:30 I had time to take my lunchbreak. I checked inside the shoe to see if I could push the bump that was sticking up inside down or if the shoe was toast. I discovered that a bark chip had gone straight through my shoe from the bottom. I pulled it out and wa la no annoying bump. Sometimes it really is just the small things. lol.
