Here's one I made using a Kanban Urban Belles stamp, I paper pieced her dress, and added a spray of punched flowers - Martha Stewart Hydrangea punch, and leaves punch. Sentiment is Hero Arts.
I do love kraft coloured cardstock, it seems to go with everything......
I have been debating whether to invest in a Silhouette Cameo die cutter. They have just bought out a smaller version as well. Do I want to be tied to a computer? No. I probably have enough images on Cricut cartridges to last me forever, but I still keep looking at the things, and reading the hype .....common sense sometimes flies out of the window where crafting is concerned
So Max announced that it was his Teddy Bears birthday - he is five apparently, the same age as Max. So the parents got a little iced mini cake and said it was for teddy
'Is it a real cake or a toy' asked Max
It's real
So he looked pityingly at them and said 'Daddy, he can't eat cake, he's only a toy'
See you tomorrow....
LOL!!!! Max is a cutie and a pretty smart little guy!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the card. Love her dress!!
I also have been thinking that I need a cameo. My Son bought me " Make the cut" software and before I ever got to use it ....well ......you can't use it on the cricut. :(
oh En! max is so funny!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the kraft and blue colour combo and ooooh I would love a silhouette, they cut such fine details...ahhh a dreamy dream for Lou!! romfl!!
huge hugs Lou xxx
Kraft and blue always looks fab - love your card.
ReplyDeleteThe comments from Max made me chuckle.

I love the card.I seem to be drifty towards blues these days. Max sure is a wise young man. So did he share teddy's cake? TFS Hugs, Jess

ReplyDeleteSo pretty Enfys is your card your chosen image is so adorable and l do like what you did to her dress l too like coloured kraft card its great to work with too! x
ReplyDeleteSuch a darling little girl on another lovely card. I am so glad that you remind me to use my punches. I am like you about being tied to a computer with the Sulhouette. Maybe at a later time. Our children do have a way of speaking such wisdom, Don't they.
ReplyDeleteSuch a darling card, Enfys!
ReplyDeleteLove the flowers.
Your kiddos are so darn cute.
Love that you write down their comments.
they will enjoy reading them when they're older.
Silhouette! I agree - i am very tempted!
but the price, and the realization that my cricut can do so much and i haven't used 90% of the cuts! The thing with the S is the different cuts, and being able to purchase them for a dollar or two. Cricut is trying to catch up with the on-line cuts, but i have problems with the Craft Room and i think the cuts are expensive!
Love your blog Enfys! Thank you for all your effort - of which there is a lot.
I think its time for you to head to Dunkin Donut!
Fabulous card and love the colour combo. TFS
ReplyDeleteThe card is lovely. I love kraft too, you are so right, it goes with everything!
ReplyDeleteI've never used a cameo and don't really use my Cricut all that much anymore, so I'm probably not one to say much about it, but I know all the hype does tend to draw one in doesn't it. I have heard that they do amazing cuts though.
Sweet card, love the tiny dotted paper behind the punched strip, that added so much to the card!
ReplyDeleteEnfys, She's absolutely darling. TFS
