Here's a happy little card. I used a clouds stamp by Hero Arts, cut out some of the clouds from a second stamped image and popped them for a bit of dimension. I also added a couple of clouds that were cut with Memory Box clouds die. The rainbow was cut with nestability circles, nested inside each other. The sun is from Life's a Beach (Cricut). We have been busy doing a few house chores. Some of the chairs on our patio set have long bolts that have snapped off, right inside the frame of the chair. It was quite expensive when we bought it,, so worth getting repaired. Hah - have you tried to get anything repaired lately? It's broken? Throw it away. Talk about a disposable society. Whatever happened to stuff that was built to last - like over five years wouldn't be asking too much. We eventually tracked down a chap working on his own in a little shed, and he was all enthusiastic about the challenge. Brilliant. That's what we need. More enthusiastic chaps with a pride in what they do.
I think I left my mojo behind in the UK, I've looked everywhere for it, but it stubbornly refuses to come out and play. This happens every time I swap homes. I think I get disorientated and because I can't instantly find what I am looking for, I flounder a bit and end up doing my staring blankly at the wall thing.....if you see it, please send it back to me
It's probably playing somewhere with mine!!
ReplyDeleteI think I have it in South Florida! I've been creating like crazy (not the normal case)....I'll try to send it back to you. Ready? Catch.

Gorgeous cheery card - we desperately need some sunshine here. Hope Mr Mojo realises that you are away and is reunited with you very soon x
ReplyDeleteOh no lost mojo! Maybe it's off on holiday with mine. I've only been able to manage the necessary cards for friends and family lately. So if they come back with nice tan's we'll know what they've been up to! Love the card. Hugs, Jess

ReplyDeleteTake a look at my cards made with Polka doodles CD. Hope you like it. I thought about you when I made it...
I love the little ladies on the sofa and was trying to decide which one was me. This card is so "Happy". Have a great Thursday!
Lovely sunny card.
ReplyDeleteI don't think your mojo would be daft enough to have stayed here...too cold & wet. Maybe he's still wandering around looking in the shops to see if there is any other crafty stuff that you NEED LOL

Hi En: I had hoped to find my mojo when you arrived here to inspire me. Alas, no I haven't done anything in months. Hope our mojo's come sailing back. Hugs Joan
ReplyDeleteI really like your cheery card. The rainbow is a great idea. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I haven't seen your mojo in San Diego. If I do, I'll send it right out.
Having just switched homes, too, I know just what you mean! If mine comes home with yours will you send it back? I promise to send yours back if I see it! At least you came up with a great cheery card. I'm still trying to unpack, put everything away and re-organize the mess!
