I very rarely duplicate cards, being of the 'done that, bored with it now, move on to the next thing' type of personality, but in the middle of doing commission cards, I was ferreting about in a drawer and found this almost completed card, made with papers from the Vintage Rose collection by Craftwork Cards. I have a vague recollection of deciding that I could make two cards just as quickly as one - that idea lasted about 5 minutes.
Anyway, all I needed to finish it was to cut a flourish using the Mothers Day seasonal cartridge. I picked this up somewhere for a ridiculous price. The good thing about Provocraft bringing out so many cartridges is that you can pick them up a lot more reasonably these days.
My cold is going, the snow has all gone, I am cracking on with stuff - life is getting back to normal (whatever normal is!)
So pretty!! Love the colors! Glad you are starting to feel better! :)

Lovely card Enfys - fab colours! Wishing you and yours a wonderful 2011 - I can feel it's going to be a great one! Cheers Claire x
ReplyDeleteHow funny Enfys - I never duplicate cards and get fed up very quickly! Plus I found some craftwork cards papers yesterday in similar colours and made a card. Great minds!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I love the colors and the swirls etc. I've been trying the two for one idea lately. Just started with my January cards. I made a card for a friend who's b'day was the 3rd. And I made a second one not exactly the same, but very similar. So I put it away for the next time I need a feminine greeting. Worked pretty well........ so far....but I don't know if it will last forever. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear you're getting well again. And normal... what's that? lol take care, Hugs
