NEC Craft Show Video

I went to a craft show today at the NEC (National Exhibition Centre), which is quite close to my home. As so many of you who come to visit me here are not from the UK, I thought you would like to see some of the fabulous card samples that were on show there. They are all UK companies, apart from Magnolia, who hail from Sweden. Sorry if the video is a bit shaky and with a lot of background noise, it was incredibly crowded there. Needless to say, my purse is a bit lighter tonight than it was this morning! I will be there again tomorrow, but this time mainly to meet up with some pals. The trouble is, they will have found something fantastic on a stand that I overlooked, and of course I will have to have one as well, so the old bank balance will probably have another bashing.

  11. Thanx Enfys for a glimpse of the NEC Craft Show. Some of those cards were incredibly beautiful, while some were a bit elementary. Over all, there was enough inspiration to make your head spin!

One thing that I thought was so amazing, was the amount of elaborate floral embellishments. Dimensionally, they sit up off the card rather high, don't they? Are these intended to be sent thru the postal system? And if so, are they also making small sturdy mailing boxes rather than envelopes?

Enjoy the remainder of the show ... and don't forget to share all the wonderful goodies you acquired while there - we're anxious to see the treasures you found!

    Hugz,
    ♥Carol♥

  15. Ahhhhhh craft shows...let the bank balance bashing begin, well in your case, continue ;). I have this video loaded and ready to watch, can't wait to see all the goodies!! You know Enfys, you are so incredibly lucky, living in the UK and the USA.

I have always been fascinated by Great Britain ever since I was a little one. As a teen I even started to take tea in the afternoon..LOL, someday I will have to tell you about the afternoon spent at Skate King (roller skating) with William, an incredibly tall, adorable young man visiting friends with his family from Wales...*sigh*

Oh..memory lane..sorry about that..please show us your goodies when you get the chance, I can't wait!!!!!!!!

    *hugs*

  31. Hi Enfys, thanks so much for the video. Didn't mind the background noise as it made me feel as I was right there with you. I did not get to the craft show either here or in Orlando this year, boo hoo. Never know where they are being held in Florida, or not in enough time to get up the moola. Rained today, but weather is getting better, just thought you'd like to know.
