Winners, and a new chance to win.......

Firstly, sorry I didn't post the winners on Sunday, but I really have been feeling under the weather, I think I have a severe allergic reaction to all the political shenanigans going on here in the USA - I will be 100% better by tomorrow night! Seriously, I had one of those bugs that leave you feeling very under par, but without further ado:

This week's winner of the fabulous colouring DVD by Nikky Hall of Polkadoodles is

Lena (lena'screations blog)

and the winner of the fine tips for ProMarkers is

Jan Pridatkow

Congrats to you both, email me at enfysc@yahoo.co.uk with your details and I will get your goodies in the mail to you

You have yet another chance to win one of these fabulous colouring DVD's from Nikky. Leave your comment under this post, and I will draw a winner on Sunday

On to today's cards. I bought this stamp by Stampendous, and love it, so easy to make very effective cards, I stamped this first one in one of the new winter distress inks, Gathered Twigs.......

I put a little heap of Frantage embossing powder in my palm, and sort of flicked it over the scene before heating from underneath.....

It gives a very satisfactory appearance of falling snow.......

and for this next one, I used Weathered Wood distress inks, the scene on both cards (inside the oval) was cut out and popped up with foam pads. This one is heavily glittered, but I have yet to find a way of showing that in photos. Frantage glitters and embossing powders are also by Stampendous

I really felt that this was going to be my 'bulk' Christmas card make for this year, but I seem to have lost the stamp. I have searched everywhere for it, nowhere to be seen. The thought that is too horrible to contemplate is that it fell into my waste bin, which I emptied last time the garbage was collected. Sob!

I notice that over on the Letraset site, they have some of my very favourite Promarker sets on clearance. A set of 5 skin tones and 5 skin accents - they are $13.36 for a pack of five markers with free worldwide shipping on an order over $30,  and no sales tax. (I am giving the US currency, because in the UK we ALL know what a bargain Promarkers are!) Go HERE to shop

See you tomorrow

Hi Enfys I know what you mean about politics, its enough to make anyone feel ill, it can be so boring listening to them pulling each other apart.

Such a lovely card this is. How sad that you are unable to locate that pretty stamp. I do your suspicions of having possibly tossed it are incorrect. Sending some positive thoughts your way that you will be able to find that little rascal!

Congrats to the winners ... and thanx again for another chanch to win!

Carol

I do hope that stamp turns up soon - hope it hasn't been garbaged as it is lovely. I keep seeing more and more people use Frantage and the effects are lovely - would you be able to do a tutorial as I haven't a clue how to use it.

Hi En, love the cards. I can see a bit of the glitter (I think) down by the greenery. I hope you didn't toss that stamp. It's quite beautiful. I just got over what ever is going around. I was in bed all of 1 day. And have gradually gotten better each day after. All good now though. Take care of you, and feel better soon. I'll be better after today too! lol Hugs, Jess

Enfys, I love all the white on white cards so much that I have been inspired to make all my Christmas cards that way. I have already got 43 done in three different designs. I loved this card especially and so I hunted it down online. If you do not find yours they are selling it at the online store 7kidscollegefund. I just bought one this morning. Thanks so much for inspiring me. God bless, Smoochie

So sorry you can't find your stamp. Hope it turns up because this is such a beautiful card. I sometimes look for some of my craft items and can't find them. Then the next time when I'm looking for another item there is the one I was looking for last time but the new item is no where to be found.
