I used random.org to draw the winners of the Elegant Edges/Promarker candy. I love giving stuff away on here, but always have a sinking feeling when I know that a lot of you will be disappointed - I know the feeling, I never win anything! There will be another giveaway starting tomorrow, lovely delicious Polkadoodles stuff
So, the winner of the Elegant Edges is
KIM - blog Kim's Craft Corner
and the promarker sets and fine tips go to
BOBBY AND JILL the Cricut Couple
So congrats to you all, email me with your address. Letraset will need your telephone number as well please for fed ex delivery of your markers.
There will be another Promarker giveaway in August
Here's another of the Heartfelt Creations cards that I made for Papercraft Inspirations magazine, on sale now in the USA. The papers are Love Struck by K & Co, I really like the strawberry with that fresh green. The sentiment stamp is by Hero Arts
One of the drawbacks of being on design teams and doing stuff for magazines is that I can't share it for ages. I have spent two days working on some projects, when I finally finished I would have loved to pop them on here to see what you think, but of course I can't. All I get from Mike is 'very nice'. Poor man, he is expected to make a comment about so many bits of paper, it must get very boring.
The new carpet is down, it looks very cream. The old one was cream as well, but of course this one is spotless, and we are full of good intentions creeping up and down stairs in slippers (now I know why they call them carpet slippers). This flurry of awareness will probably last for about a week. I did the sensible thing and decided against more cream carpet in the study though. A nice man is coming to fit a wood floor in there tomorrow. You can bet that if I had gone for carpet, the very first day I would have dropped my black stazon ink pad. Splat. Doesn't bear thinking about. So at the moment I am in houseproud mode, duster in one hand, promarkers in the other - it won't last
See you tomorrow
