Teacher Cards

Here's two cards I made for Papercraft Inspirations magazine - the quick cards section, which means that the readers are able to reproduce your card in a short time, about 30 minutes. My brief was thank you cards for teachers, for full details of how to make the cards, see this months magazine (on sale now in the USA)

The thing about going on holiday to Spain is that they have all these addictive street markets, where you can pick up stuff like leather handbags and sandals for next to nothing. Of course I got carried away, not only for myself, but a text message to Alexandra - would you like some leather gladiator sandals? Of course the answer was yes, since it was coming from the bank of Mum and Dad............so that left me with the problem of trying to squash all these purchases into the suitcase. I swear that these budget airlines doctor the scales, so that the cases mysteriously become twice as heavy on the way back..........ten pair of sandals couldn´t make THAT much difference, or could it?

  1. So gorgeous Enfys.

    Hugs Riet.xx

  2. The cards are great and those scales are a neccesity so you dont try to take a criminal home....

  3. yey, i can finally make a comment on your blog en!! the last few days it just wouldnt come up, grrrrr. Loving the teachers card hun, they are fab, theappley one is so sweet. and romfl about the sandals, sounds as if you needed to be as strong as a gladiator to carry all those home!! huge hugs Lou xxxx

  4. No....of course not..... I don't know what those people are thinking!
It's really back to he dark ages...our dark ages....
When I was a child, you had to pay for any extra pounds. I remember standing on one of those scales...trying to see how much I weighed. lol Lovely cards as always En. TFS
    Hugs, Jessica

  5. Great cards, Enfys. Love the apples! The trick is only packing you bags half full to go on vacation. Yeah, right, like that ever works ;- ) We never seem to rest on our vacations. DH and DS always say that's boring. It's go, go, go! Have a great week.

  6. So cute Enfys.. and I have to agree, I wouldn't think 10 PAIRS of sandals would make that much difference. lol

  7. What cute cards. You do things on a card I would have never thought of. They are both beautiful.

  8. Nice Teacher Cards, Envys! I really like the apples.

Hoping you have a great welcome home! I know the little ones will be happy to see you!

    Blessings, Donna

  9. The cards are great. I too have a problem with packing and seem to always have to ship much of my goodies home.... the first hint is when they can't even lift my bag to the scale! LOL

  10. I love your teacher cards Enfys, so different and unique. Poor alligator lol!

  11. I adore my Papercraft magazine and Loved all your cards featured there!

  12. I love that gorgeous apple one.

  13. Great cards, love the fun bright colours.
As for the suitcases if we all packed them like you the plane would never take off lol, Have you seen those scales you can buy these days that let you know after purchase when you case is at the limit, on second thoughts those may just give you a coronary!!
