Of course, when I sat down to actually make something, my mind was a total blank, but I eventually came up with this orange, polka dotted frog. I am quite sure that somewhere in the world, in the depths of the Amazon rainforest or the foothills of the Himalayan mountains, that there are orange frogs with polka dots hopping happily around, but this little frog is British through and through, so is definitely a bit of an oddity......
So I got away with it...... but I will really think ahead when it's my turn to set a challenge next time!
Great challenge Enfys - lots of fun! Your orange frog is fab! Shabneez x
ReplyDeleteOMGoodness ... your little orange frog with those yellow and white polka-dots is absolutely adorable! The challenge you've selected will be something outrageously fun for all the card makers participating.
ReplyDeleteI am suddenly visualizing a green giraffe with purple and orange striped spots leisurely feasting on the blue and pink plaid leaves on the tall limbs of a fuchsia and chartreuse polka-dotted tree, as it is walking through the tall pink and black grass ... with a background of an aqua and melon chevron patterned sky and a big blue floral sun with red sun lightening bolt beams sitting high in the sky. Oh My ... the possibilities boggle the mind!!! And yes, I am just weird enough to think of these ridiculously "unnatural" combinations. (*wink*)
After visualizing that scene, my eyes hurt!
DeleteWell, I'd be stuck on a person or two I know. It would have taken me way too long to get beyond them! LOLOL Love your little orange frog. Hugs, Jess
ReplyDeleteLove your 'unnatural' little frog, Enfys, so cute with all his little polka dots. Super card. xx
ReplyDeleteAww your card is super cute and such fun too! x
ReplyDeleteI love this! So much fun and so cheery too. You're not the first teamie who's had that "Why on earth did I decide on this for a challenge?' moment!
ReplyDeleteCute and happy-looking wee frog Enfys, love the dotty background too!
ReplyDeleteActually quite a fun challenge. Might have to see if I can find some green hedgehogs or orange bananas. Hugz
