I used a variety of dies to fill the box with my pretty flower arrangement, the big flowers are the dogwood flowers, I used some sprigs of lavender from the Shapeabilities Lavender set, and an assortment of leaves from the fall foliage set
I cut a heart with the pierced heart die and
stamped a sentiment from the From my Heart stamp set. I attached the flowers, heart and
butterfly onto acetate strips so that they float above the box. The butterfly is from the Les Papillon set
Here is the die I used. You can find it in the Spellbinders store HERE
and I love it so much, I set myself the challenge of making a box card for a man. Difficult. Come back tomorrow to see how I got on, and see who won the stamps I am giving away
Beautiful and elegant boxcard. Love the color.
ReplyDeleteWOW ... Enfys, this box card is stunning. As you've mentioned, the box cards have been around for some time, and I've seen a multitude of them, but this one is right up there at the top of the list. I adore the various shades of purple, white and green. The flowers are a beautiful blend of sweet and delicate, and the lovely butterfly and heart embellish it perfectly. I've never made a box card myself, but now I'm inspired to give it a try. Can't wait to see how you turn a box card into something for a man. Whatever you do, I know it will be something fun.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful box card! I love the flowers and the delicate butterfly. Great job Enfys!
