Fuse Snowflakes...

So I had a little session with my Fiskars Fuse, and the snowflakes die, but instead of letterpressing with ink, I used versamark, then heat embossed with silver....three more cards under my belt.....

The chaps from Amazon continue to beat a path to my door, and the pile of presents is growing nicely. My next job is to spread everything out on the bed and make a list of what I have, and for whom......I usually find that I have a sackful of presents for one person, and none for another. Even though my kids are grown, I still enjoy getting them 'stocking stuffers', and last year my daughter presented me with a sack full of gifts of my own. 'You always do it for us mum' she explained 'I thought I would do it for you'................I haven't been so excited about opening stuff since I was a child!

How are your preparations going? I can ask this now we are in December! x

  1. Love these cards Enfys ... the Silver and white is so beautiful. It reminds me of the snowy winters I enjoyed as a child living in Washington State. Sadly, there is no chance of seeing a snowflake here in Florida. I do miss the snow ... but don't tell my friends in the Northern States. (*wink*). As to my Christmas preparations ... I've started, but have a long way yet to go. Hugz xx

  3. Any chance of making December a 12 week month with Christmas right at the end? That's how organised I feel right at this moment LOL
Lovely cards Enfys - there really is something magical about white & silver.

    1. I only had two to buy for in my family so I am all done as of Nov. but I always collect clothing items for the less unfortunate folks which gives them a boost at Christmas. Always receiving presents even if they are from strangers.

  5. I love your snowflake cards, the silver and white are beautiful together. I will have to remember this for next year. I have more shopping, decorating, and baking to do. My son has requested that we make ginger bread cookies this year. That will be my husband's job!!!!

  6. I have the same problem with my 2 kids. I start buying and think I'll write it all down so I know how much I have for each. The I stash it away without writing it down, and when I pull it out to wrap a few days before Christmas I find I don't have enough for one of them...and off to the store I go!
