Firstly, I heat embossed with white WOW embossing powder onto white card, and used tumbled glass and chipped sapphire distress inks to sponge colour onto the white space... I added Wink of Stella clear glitter so there is a lovely subtle shine, and some clear sequins dotted around completed the look....
Next, I used a sparkly black embossing powder, impossible to photograph the sparkle on this one, the same inks were used to add colour.....
and for the last one I used a copper embossing powder. The strips on the top and bottom were made by swiping an embossing pad over white cardstock, then covering with the same embossing powder. I cut strips rather than backing the whole piece - that way you get less bulk on your card, always useful at Christmas when you have to mail so many....I left the background white on this one, it looked quite effective against the rich shiny copper...
See you tomorrow x
They are all beautiful! I think my favorite is the one with the copper powder. Just beautiful and each so different from the others. TFS!
ReplyDeleteWonderful creation ! I agree with Kristie, Copper one is awesome!
ReplyDeleteEnfys, these are all so beautiful. Isn't it amazing how different an image can look, just by changing one element ... like different embossing powders, or a different color cardstock, or different background inking. One single stamp can have such a great versatility, merely by applying a different technique.
ReplyDeleteThese cards are very pretty Enfys!! The first one looks like new fresh fallen snow that had gathered on the trees....so pretty!! The card with the copper is very pretty too.
ReplyDeleteLovely cards Enfys. I always love to see how different colour-ways work. The copper one is fabulous.

What different looks from the same stamp - the first one is my favourite. The two sequins on the middle one look like a pair of eyes! I wonder if that stamp is still available - off to google it. Pat x
ReplyDeleteAll lovely :) I think the first one would be my favourite (if you asked me to choose!) - it's very wintry-looking.
ReplyDeleteOh wow I love the coppery one! I haven't been getting your e-mail updates, so when I saw your name in my in box this morning I got ever so excited. Hopefully they will continue to come.
ReplyDeleteWow! They are all beautiful! Where can I get that stamp?
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful! I love all of them, but the white one is my favorite! Thank you.
