My turn to do a Letraset post today - here's one of the cards I made, very quick and easy, to see how I did it, go HERE - it would be great if you can leave a comment while you are over there, the generous Letraset team love to read them.....
Then pop back here and leave your name below this post to win the very latest Spring/Summer limited edition Promarkers, you will get twelve pens:
Silver Lining, Praline, Summer Sun, Saddle Brown, Herb Green, Pale Blossom, Molton Red, Chilly Red, Cloud Blue, Verdigris, Ocean Teal (one of the colours on the card shown above) and Cadet Blue
I will pick a random winner when I pick all the other winners for a whole host of prizes that have been offered very generously by different companies I work/or have worked for and are going to be offered in a series of posts starting sometime next week - they are all happy to join me in thanking all my followers for sticking with me over the years. So be sure to come by - I'm not quite organised enough to tell you when the big blog party will start, but it will be one day very soon, so keep your eyes peeled, I'm off to buy the balloons and party poppers....

A beautiful card, I've been to letraset - thanks for the chance to win and can't wait for your blog party xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous idea to heat emboss the stamped image in black (instead of the white I have seen Jennifer and otheres do). I especially love this teal version, not only because i love this colour anyway, but also because it pops against the black background. Thanks for the chance to win this set of markers.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card. I'll certainly be attending your party. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI have to have these markers! Just need to guess on when they'll be sold out - Do I put them on my Christmas list for my hubby to buy me? Or do I need to splurge on myself beforehand? If I WIN, my problem will be solved!

Great card and technique. Thanks for the chance to win the lovely Letraset with the great colors. hugs, Helena
ReplyDeleteEn I just love this technique!! And the cards are lovely as always. Amazing how different they look. May I ask a question? You colored the flowers, then scribbled the green ink and just used a baby wipe to get the excess ink? No special trick to it? I find that amazing. Just want to be sure I got it right!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing and the great prize! Sounds like we are going to have a lot of fun soon!
Sue
Great card, the colours are beautiful x
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, yes, because you have gloss embossed the background, if you use different coloured green inks to scribble the leaves it gives the impression of shading, then because the surface is slick, you can just wipe with a baby wipe to remove any ink that's got onto the glossy area, I'm all for quick and easy!
ReplyDeleteJust popped over to look at your latest technique on Letraset. A must to try. Loved the card as black and white as well as the colors you used later.
ReplyDeleteAwesome tutorial Enfys!! I too have some of these background stamps & didn't quite know how best to use them! Why do we always buy these things thinking that we'll make something great using them?? Thanks so much for giving me some great ideas!! Looking forward to the big event!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card here and the one on the Letraset blog is a favorite. I love the lesson on what to do with those big stamps. Thank you too for the chance to win a set of markers. Keeping my fingers crossed. Looking forward to the party. Need help blowing up ballons?
ReplyDeleteI so want to try this technique...and I see another idea on what to do a video on...Yahoo!!! a blog party!!!!! got to go find my party hat....
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing this technique. At last I can use my stamps in this style to produce a great card. Also will be good to use my promarkers again.
ReplyDeleteVisited Letraset and liked what I saw. :-) I really like the look of these cards.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity to win, am a new follower as have only just found you. Lots of lovelies to look through I love your style of writing and your cards are simply stunning :)
ReplyDeleteBoth are lovely cards but I much prefer the peachy one on the Letraset blog. You know, I took the Stretch Your Stamps class too and was disappointed that I didn't have a reverse stamp to play with after seeing what they did with them. I never saw the attraction to them before. Your samples are yet another reminder that I need to add some diversity to my stamp collection! Of course the Promarkers are just beautiful too and would be a wonderful addition to a growing collection!!!
ReplyDeleteWow. Can't wait for the party to begin.
ReplyDeleteFantastic technique Enfys. Will definitely be giving this a go. It looks like you spent hours on the colouring not minutes. The blue is very special
ReplyDeleteJust found you via Letraset. Loving your Blog and all your cards. Tina C
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, love the effect, will be checking out older entries!
