Here's one I made using the Nellie Snellen flower dies that I got from my pal Mandy of Scrappy-Go-Lucky. You get two punches, one punches out the flowers, then you put the die cut in another, and press, all the embossed lines and little raised centers on the flowers appear as if by magic. I'll take a photo of them and show them tomorrow. The basket, fence and scallop frame were cut with my Cricut (basket doodlecharms, scallop frame Elegant Edges, fence Bloom). I embossed the fence and basket with a woodgrain embossing folder. The flowers were cut in white, then I just sponged them lightly with faded jeans distress ink......
I have no idea what happened to the photos of the boys, they were there when I posted, then poof, gone - let's try again. First of all, Max and Milo, love the way Max is giving his little brother a hug....
and Monty, taken on his fourth birthday on Saturday.....
I am in serious list making and packing mode now (we leave on Saturday). Because we are sailing from the UK, with no flights and baggage restrictions to worry about, I may be going a bit overboard (unintentional pun). Do you think fourteen pairs of shoes/sandals and ten handbags may be a tiny bit excessive? The guidance given by P & O is that there is no limit on the number of cases we take, but that we should remember that they have to fit into the cabin...right....so the packing frenzy means that we will probably be clambering over cases just to get to the loo, or into bed. That may not go down that well with Mike....better go and make another list....
See you tomorrow x
In regards to the purses, shoes, handbags... A girl can never have to many of any of those. Love the card. I will have to get those out and make a basket and fence. I have about 20 flowers I made that I need to use......
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures the little guys are so cute and growing up so fast. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Who needs space in a cabin anyway - shoes and handbags are vital! xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card.

Hi Enfys, Oh how lovely is your card and what beautiful children you must be so proud xx
ReplyDeleteIf you take all those shoes remember you have to be able to lift or carry your luggage. Good luck. Ha! This card is adorable, love the theme layout and color scheme. Have a wonderful trip, envious me.
ReplyDeleteThose lads are just too cute. Don't worry about cabin space - you'll spend such little time in there that it won't matter anyway! Pat x
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card Enfys.

Absolutely stunning card. The pics of the grands are adorable. Beautiful blue eyes.
ReplyDeleteA cruise, how wonderful. Do take lots of pictures and post. I've never been on one and I would truly like to see what real people are really wearing on these cruise. Hope to take a cruise from Norwary to Spain on a maiden vogue in 2015.
Good luck with the packing.
Hugs, CyndiU

The boys pictures were worth the wait. They are absolutely adorable. You will wear half of what you take on the cruise, but what the heck, take it all. They will stow your luggage out of the room which helps a lot. Your card is so beautiful as usual.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, love how you incorporate different dies with cuts from your cricut cartridges. Darling pictures of your grandsons, tfs!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card. So what's up with stepping over cases, we do it in our craft rooms every day hehehe. Enjoy the trip it's well earned
