Dots and Tips? Go HERE to see my post on the Letraset blog, I have a spare pack of the coloured end dots to give away, and a pack of ultra fine tips for your promarkers. Just leave a comment under this post and I will draw a winner on Sunday.
Here's a card for today, the frame and sentiment are by Kanban, the orchid is a Memory Box die......
I forgot to wish all my American friends a happy 4th July. It's the first time we have been here for the 4th - boy, you guys really like your fireworks! It has been lovely seeing all the firework displays on the TV, and seeing people out and about wearing their red white and blue. In the drugstore, the teen serving me wished me a happy 4th. 'Well, I'm British' I smiled 'but I am enjoying it'
'You don't have the 4th in London?' Ermmm, no!
Oh I am so oblivious to these pens/markers never heard or used them. Would be great to try some one day. I love your card and the MB orchid dyes are gorgeous...thanks for the chance to win..x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and I love those Kanban frames and sentiment, I really need some of those.
ReplyDeleteI have missed popping by to see what you are up to but hopefully I am back in action now!

I'm building up my ProMarkers collection and making little self for them. Just thought how I'll mark the caps of pens to see what color pen it is. I had no idea that it's possible to buy coloured end dots for them. Thanks for the info.
ReplyDeleteOoh, another beautiful card from you. It's so pretty.
Eret xx
Beautiful card and love the set on the Letraset blog too. I have just recently found my perfect storage for my Promarkers and will share as soon as I have taken photos on my blog. I did try to get the CD case from Tesco but my local branch didn't have it and it was out of stock with Tesco Direct.
ReplyDeleteHello Enfys, These dots are very welcome!! That's super to find your colour that you want much faster.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tips about storaging.
Hugs,
Marianne MW

Hi Enfys, your last para is too funny, how cute she must have looked. I'd love to have to markers. I have an orchid plant here and haven't seen any flower on it for at least 3 years. Maybe I should scraplift your card... I'd have a better chance of seeing an orchid!
ReplyDeleteHave a super day.
Hugs
Claire

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card, love MB dies. Oh that did make me laugh, maybe he doesn't know why they celebrate 4th July. You have to love them though don't you.
ReplyDeleteI've never used pro markers but another chance to win, thanks so much. I love the soft, delicate colors you chose on your latest card. So soft. Marlene K.
ReplyDeleteEnfys,
ReplyDeleteI love this card and it is lilac too......Great job...........
Enfys,
ReplyDeleteFunny you would say that you don't have the 4th in London. It happens that I was in London on the 4th of July one year. Friends and I were in a pub (I didn't even realize the date) and a young man approached us and said "we celebrate the 4th of July here in England". We expressed surprise and he then finished what he wanted to say. "We celebrate having gotten rid of you". Guess you can always spot an American.

ReplyDeleteThe card is beautiful. The dots are great, I didn't know they made them. Thanks for the opportunity to win them. I'm glad you enjoyed the 4th.
ReplyDeleteLovely card, Enfys! Thanks for the chance to win. So many people speak without thinking, ha ha. You should visit Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia sometime. They do a great job showing how hard it was for people of the time to decide to split from England and the rift it caused among the people living here. It all done through actors who walk among you in costume re-creating it. The area is all period and period re- creations as well. Very lovely. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance to win. How come my coloring never looks as pretty as yours. Mine always looks like a kindergartner colored it. Practice, practice, practice. At least I can grow orchids!
ReplyDeleteReally pretty card, and what a fab idea - coloured dots for the end of your promarkers, haven't seen them advertised anywhere!
ReplyDeleteMandy x

ReplyDeleteWhat a shocker that youth must have had when you told him that the UK didn't celebrate America's Independance Day. Gotta love it! (But it does make you wonder what our kids are learning in History, doesn't it?)
Hugz!
Dots and tips would mean I used my ProMarkers more often! Eventually I will invest in a few but I have the full set of regular PMs so it would be nice to get more value out of them. =) Thanks for a chance to get them more organized! =)
