I have had a hectic day, so thought I would share this card - well it made me smile when I was making it! The pink punched piece on the right is an EK Success border punch, and I cut a strip of the diamonds from the pattern paper to layer on top of it.
Here is why I am a bit frazzled - a work in progress - can you see any clothes in these suitcases? No, not a Tshirt to be seen, just paper, and inks, and all manner of stuff I just can't manage without, and can't afford to duplicate, like Nestabilities, embossing folders, distress inks. Then there is all my Craftwork Cards stuff, my Polkadoodles CD's, my new Kanban stuff..........I have a lot of the basics in both places, but it's all those extras (multiplied when I came back because of the spending spree I will have with coupons at Michaels and Jo-anns!)
I guess I may be able to squeeze some undies and a toothbrush in.
See you tomorrow x
LOL what a fun card, Enfys!! Heck, buy clothes here, it's cheaper! After all a gals got to have her crafty stuff, right?

ReplyDeleteoh En!! I am romfl at your suticases because when my dad comes home from the seychelles he brings empty suitcases with him! then he buys a tonne of stuff here and fills up the suitcases to take back home! he literally arrives in his jeans, t shirt and coat ( its kinda cold here compared to the seychelles!)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love that stamp too! its fabulous!!
huge hugs Lou xxx
What a fun card.
ReplyDeleteOne has to get one's priorities right when packing and it looks like you are spot on LOL

Have a great time. Really like your card and omg the sentiment so darn cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card.

I so agree with your card. If worse comes to worse here in the US we have Good Will stores. People donate clothes, housewares and such and they sell them cheap to make money for some of their other projects. I have found really nice designer labels for cheap cheap. You have to look for spots and such but it makes for an interesting scavanger hunt. I see all sorts of people from well to do to really down on their luck in there. Just think of the tales you will have to tell us about.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Enfys!
ReplyDeleteThat card should come with a drink alert - I almost spit my tea (still morning here) all over my computer!
As far as clothes, oh darn, guess you'll just have to shop when you get here!
Safe travels,
Donna
It's so hot in Florida all you need are a couple pair of shorts and a couple tees and you're all set for clothes. Save the suitcases for the important stuff like your craft things. I sure don't envy your packing.
ReplyDeleteLol, fab card Enfys!
ReplyDeletexx
Duplicate the clothes! Leave some here so you don't have to pack them, then you can stay focused on the important stuff!
ReplyDeleteHi hun
ReplyDeletea fabulous card, luv the image, oh fill it with craft stash hun, buy when you get there, lol, sue,x
Love the card. Have some people to send it to ;- ) I also love you packing mentality. Glad I don't live between two places, esp. if I had to fly >.< Maybe a container ship!
ReplyDeleteWho needs clothes when you have crafting supplies. Didn't you say you will have a ton of boxes from Blitsy when you get to FL from before they shipped to the UK? LOL Backing is the pits.
ReplyDeleteLove the card and the sentiment is sooooo true. LOL
Great card. Sure gave me a smile. Don't you wish you could just duplicate everything? It would make traveling so much easier for you.
ReplyDeleteHow fortunate to have such problems, lol.
ReplyDeleteClothes are over-rated, Enfys ;p especially in scorching Florida!
ReplyDeleteLove that sentiment on the card - too funny!
Have a safe flight!
I'm just realizing that you are coming to Florida for SUMMER not winter! You are a brave woman! I had to laugh at the suitcases - thankfully you don't need many clothes. :-)
