Just sharing with you one of the latest photos I have of Max and Milo, aren't they adorable in their matching PJ's? Look at the way Milo is gazing at his big brother
This week for Practical Scrappers, I was asked to use at least three ribbons. I used whitewash paper by core-dinations, made the base card from that and distressed the edges. The cuttlebug script folder was used for the centre panel, and again, rubbed with a emery board. The flower was from the walk in my garden cartridge, I cut three at 3", 2 1/2" and 2 1/4", and layered them with silicone glue. A little circle in the middle dotted with shimmer dots finished it off. The ribbons were just knotted together and glued to the card, I tried knotting them around the 'stem' and it just distorted it, so a glue dot came in handy. It's all very monotone, but I like it...
I really love this whitewash cardtock, I never liked the original black stuff, but this white is just gorgeous, this sheet is white, reversing to charcoal grey.
Guess what, my gypsy has arrived. I have managed to do all the computer stuff, and it is up and running. I will let you know what I think when I have had time to get used to using it. At the moment, it's a bit of a faff because I don't know what I am doing. The jury is out...................

Oh Enfys what a gorgeous photo of your grandsons, they do seem to be growing fast, its amazing that one minute they are tiny babies and the next little people. I adore your card by the way, its stunning, simple elegant and classic. With love and hugs Shirleyxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new addition to your family~I hope you love your gypsy as much as I do. I found trying to recreate a card I've already made on my gypsy was a great way to practice. I still use some of my handbooks though (for TTBM). If I can help at all send me a note :)
ReplyDeleteFab card, I love the pop of pink!!!
Oh, Enfys, what a sweet picture of your grandsons ... just adorable! Love your card, too! The bright pink and gray color combination is very striking. Hang in there with the Gypsy ... you'll have it mastered in no time.

Cute picture of the boys....love photos of two little boys as I have two myself! Regarding the Gypsy...hang in there with it, I am still learning on mine, but I was getting so frustrated at first when I did not know how to do something. I am more of a learn as I go person vs. reading the manual as I need to do it to fully understand it...but I am getting better by the day...wish I had more time to use it though as I know it is going to have some amazing potential!
