Here's a couple more of the cards that are in this month's Creativity. I was asked to do some new year cards using the freebie bear. For this one, I used some chipboard letters, but decided to use the negatives as well, the bit left over when you peel off the letters.
Another one from the designer challenge article, I did find using the mirri card really hard, and it's a bit of a rubbish photo, but this one looked quite cute. I made some little birds, using buttons for their bodies, and cut a wing shape out of the paper I was given to use. I drew the feet and tails.
A little reminder, don't forget you have until the end of the month to take part in the Autumn Woodland challenge over on the Funky Hand blog, great prize up for grabs there. The Lily=Boo challenge is also monthly, dead easy this month, all you have to do is use the colour purple
I had a birthday card in the mail today from Kiki (it's my birthday in 10 days, so I haven't opened it yet). My daughter in law made me smile, they spent all afternoon making the work of art, Annabel said 'Ma will love this card Kiki' 'No' Kiki replied, very firmly 'I don't think she will like it. I think we will keep it here in my house'. Already reluctant to give away her creations at the age of five. A true artist in the making.

You're right, a little artist in the making. I'm sure you'll cherish it! So when is your birthday, and what's your address so I can send you a card. I'd rather do it on the sly, but couldn't figure out how to get your address. So you'll know it's coming, you just won't know what it'll look like! Send it by Jazzyjess49@gmail.com So it won't go out into the world! lol Love the cards too, as usual!
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards! I like how you used the negatives in your lettering. The buttton birds are just darling - so creative! Don't you just love getting kid made cards - the ones my daughters make me are always my favorites - Happy Birthday early!

Oh my goodness ... Enfys, these are super cute! I especially like the Happy New Year's card with the "freebe Bear" ... I love how you did the lettering on that card, just enough of difference in the lettering to make it pop and give it lots of personality. Great Job, as always!
