Anything Goes for Penny Black

The challenge over on Penny Black's Saturday challenge this week is anything goes, well I couldn't resist that could I, so here's a simple little card. I stamped the hedgehog twice, and cut around the second image and popped him on to give a bit of dimension. The sentiment is one of those dollar studio G ones - I love the font. Kraft cardstock is by Papermania, and I used my Promarkers to colour the image

I stayed up until silly-o-clock to watch Julie on QVC, with an hour of lovely Craftwork Cards goodies and samples. She is a natural, very relaxed in front of the cameras, and full of helpful tips. There are more shows from her throughout the day today, so you still have time to catch one. Here's a card made with the latest Kraft with Colour collection, I added a tag and a calender sheet, both pretty heavily inked with tea stain distress ink.

Have you heard of the bucket list? This is a list of ten things you want to do before you kick the bucket. The latest thing is a reverse bucket list, ten things you definitely hope you won't have to do before you die. This is absorbing my every waking moment, I am forever thinking 'oh no, I hope I never have to have a job emptying sewerage tanks' and other ridiculous notions (hardly likely, since I was a nurse in my other life, retired, and not looking for work). Stay tuned for my definitive list later in the week, and maybe you can work on your own lists now that I have put this bizarre idea into your heads

Enfys, I can think of LOTS of things that would go on a reverse bucket list! Great cards.

just haven't been able to be a fan of the Kraft papers..just no color..blah! I like color!!!

Enfys, you are too funny for words! I haven't heard of this fun reverse list. I do have a bucket list that I keep on my computer and it is way over 10 things and I keep adding to it. Now that reverse list, I'm gonna have to think on that one.
When I was in high school, my guidance counselor tried to talk me into being a dental hygenist, to which I replied "Ewe, I don't want to stick my hands in peoples mouths!!!!" So what did I do? Like you, I became a nurse and stuck my hand in much worse places. I'm sure there are many people who would NEVER want to be a nurse for just this reason! LOL!
Can't wait to see what else is on your list!

And of course, about that card.... Love it! Great card!

Hmmmm I think the reverse list is much more interesting. My first thought...never have to deal with a major illness...done that already...twice...I really hope that doesn't happen again! lol

I love your card En! And thank you so much, I didn't have nearly enough bizarre things going on in my head already. A reverse bucket list - much easier for me than the regular list! hugs, eileen

Wonderful cards,Enfys. I think the Penny Black images are oh so sweet. Love your choice of paper on that one, esp ;- ) A reverse bucket list would be sooo long! To the moon and back, I'd think, ha ha. Have a wonderful week.

The reverse bucket list is a hoot! Oddly enough nothing popped into my mind when I read about it, but a whole lot of panic entered the room!

Hi Enfys, just when I was half way through my bucket list (trying to bring it down to 10), you drop this bomb on me..... reverse bucket list!!! Hummmmm, I'll have to think about that one! We had a snowstorm here this morning so I had to hurry up and get to work... so no time to visit your Blog to kick start my day with one of your funny ''thingies''. I love the card, aren't hedgehodges the cutest? Hope your day was great. xoxo

I love both cards, especially the sentiment on the first one from Studio G.

Oh boy, reversed bucket list, eh?! This is definitely harder to come up with than a bucket list for sure!
