One die three ways

Today I am using the Glass Effects Card Creator die by Spellbinders for my Spellblogger post

For the first card, I cut the die in black, and backed it with vellum which I coloured on the back with ProMarkers. This gave a lovely stained glass effect. I wrapped a vellum band around the card with a sentiment cut from the Celebration two set

The second card was cut from a pattern paper which I mounted onto a plain white card base, then slotted in some shapes cut from different plain and coordinating patterns. Just a few little gems here and there to jazz it up a little......

and the last panel was cut from a delicate peach coloured card which I mounted onto a delicate pale green card base, adding a flower cut with the medallion nine die, and some leaves from the Romantic Blooms One set.....

I love how changing the colours can result in such different looking cards, suitable for both male and female recipients

Thank you so much for all the emails and messages wishing Mike well, he is still in hospital and is recovering slowly, but life isn't back to normal yet.....xx

  1. Enfys, these cards are lovely. It's amazing to see such totally different results using the same day. I love a die that has so many uses.

Sending healing thoughts and prayers for Mike's continued recovery and that he will soon be home. I know it will be wonderful to have him home with you again and have life return to a normal pace again. (((HUGZ))) Carol xx

    1. whoops ... above I said "using the same day" ... I intended to say, "using the same die" ... me and my clumsy typing fingers!

  2. These are so lovely - not seen this die before and definitely need to investigate it, it looks very versatile.

    Best wishes

  3. Sorry to hear Mike is I'll! My Don't has been under the weather too. I wore myself out running back n forth from hospital every day! But he's now recuperating pretty well, as am I. Love your cards. The colors do make a big difference. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Jess

  4. You are amazing! To continue sharing with Mike in the hospital is difficult and tiring!! Hope Mike continues to improve and that you take care of yourself too! Hugs!

I love reading your comments, thank you for taking the time
