Remember my lovely little pots? Made with moulds available from Katy Sue Designs (available in the USA and Canada as well as Europe). I dug out some papers by Authentique and made a couple of cards.......
I used a clear stamp for the sentiment, so I was able to curve it on the block to follow the line of the circle......
the little flowers and leaves were done with Martha Stewart hydrangea and fern punches out of the papers in the pack.....
Once I have dug out a paper pack, I can't leave it alone so made another quick card, this time using the memory box window die....
all this stuff in the bottom corner was printed onto the cardstock, but it looked dimensional so I quite liked it - apart from the printed label which was one of those encouraging little sayings that I hate so much, I think it said 'live each day to the fullest' - well, that had to go, there is no way I am telling someone how to spend their days, especially as most days are spent with me drifting around quite happily achieving sweet nothing, so who am I to talk? So I stamped another saying (so much more reasonable, enjoy your special day, no philosophical tracts exhorting them to spend each day dashing around living life to the fullest......) which covered up the original......
Look what's arrived, the latest collection from Craftwork Cards, this one is RIGHT up my street, I love the colours and can't wait to start using it....
When we were looking after the boys, we took them to Pizza Express where they were given a sticker book and stickers. Milo decided they were more fun on his face than in the book - I am not showing you the photo of me sporting a sticker moustache that makes me look a bit like photos I have seen of Mussolini. Milo looks cute, I look ridiculous!

ReplyDeleteLove what you did with those sweet little pots, Enfys! Think I may need some of those?! Gosh my crafty wish list will have to be written on toilet paper at this rate, because it'll be the only thing long enough!! Hugs, Lisa x
ReplyDeleteWell done Jo on your win - I'm not green at all! ;)
Great cards Enfys - love the first one especially. I'm with you on the inspirational sugary sweet sayings, they just sound so false to me. Are you going to be at Harrogate this weekend? If so, look forward to seeing you. Pat x

Hi En, I always love the pix of the kids. They are all adorable. I can't believe Milo has gotten so big! Lovely cards, I think I'll have to hunt down some of that paper! (as if I didn't have enough!) Looking forward to the things you do with the new kit. Oh and I get up to mostly nothing too. Except on the days when Don has chemo or doc's visits. But then... all I do is drive and sit and do nothing. lol TFS Hugs, Jess
ReplyDeleteBeautiful way to use those cute little pots. Gorgeous cards. Love the background paper on the first one.

I love those little pots also. I agree with you about those sentiments they have already printed on the tags. It just isn't me.
ReplyDeleteYou card is just stunning!
ReplyDeleteThe little pots are so stikin' cute I was waiting to see how you used them!
Take Care.
Your cards are very nice ! I wondered if you would use the pots on a card. I thought they might be to heavy to adhere to the card. What did you use to glue them on ? The picture with Milo is cute although after your comments it makes me more curious about your other picture. :)
