WOYWW

Time for another browse around the craft spaces of the world, yes, it's WOYW Wednesday again (what's on your workdesk?), hosted by Julia, pop over there to join in the fun. Before I show you my lovely, nice clean space, here is a card I made using Memory Box dies (tree and flowers), Martha Stewart round the page punch, and a little fence cut from the Bloom Cricut cartridge. The sentiment is Craftwork Cards.

I cut the tree in white and coloured it with ProMarkers. The tiny white flowers, all with a pearl center, are the 'waste' circles you get with a hole punch. I love using those for tiny blooms

Ta da....here is my newly arranged and freshly painted garage with all the stuff put back in a nice logical order. Spot the new epoxy floor, which will be easy to keep clean

I love my new ribbon rack, picked up at Jo-Anns with a 50% coupon, so it was only $15, bargain. I probably need another one as well, I have a lot of ribbon. My shelf thing that I bought for all my new distress inks has to go under that, I have to move it over if I am doing inky things. I discovered that if I had it on my table and I was doing stuff like cranking the Cuttlebug, it shook so much that all the inks fell out!

I reorganised all my plastic chests, and have put dymo labels on each draw to show the contents. The trouble was, in the Florida humidity, they all peeled off, so I had to get a tube of super glue to stick them on again. Trouble was, I stuck all my fingers together as well, so that in the end my hands resembled giant lobster claws. Then I was like a giant snake shedding it's skin for a couple of days, as I picked the glue off...

Wow, I love your workspace - wish I had a nice place like that but have to work at a small table in my lounge (works well but has to all be packed away when finished).
Hope you enjoyed the Jubilee celebrations.

  13. Lovely card as always. I would really like to get that tree die! You make such gorgeous things with it. Lovely work space. Do you have A/C in the garage? If not, doesn't the humidity make the paper and cardstock curl?
TFS your beautiful cards. Hugs, Jess

  15. Beautiful card! Love all the little flower buttons.
Wow your craft space is so nice. I could never do the garage. Mine is always dirty. We have a big yard that has a lot of stuff to use to take care of it. Riding mower, push mower, trimmer. All dirty stuff. LOL
Really love the space. Do you leave it all here when you are in the UK? I need to do something at our cabin. It is really tiny.
    Thanks for sharing!

  25. Wow, some great ideas! I'm working on finishing my card/scrapping room and this gives me some great ideas for that as well as the sewing and painting rooms.

Love your cards! The idea of using punched circles with pearls or beads is great!

  29. Wow...I think I hate you (not really, but just for a second) with all your craft space organization...I'm jealous...it looks beautiful!!!

I have cleaned up my space many, many times, but just never took the organizational furniture that's out there to be had seriously. I have lots of free shelving and such, and that's great..but need to flush those spaces out as well!!

Beautiful card by he way..love the detail!!

  32. I really like the card, those dies are beautiful. But I really REALLY like your new look room..what a haven, it looks frightfully cool and sophisticated!! We don't tend to buy ribbon on the spool here, so I have a tangled mass of a storage solution!

  38. I really really love this card and think it's just gorgeous.
Wow, you have such a professional craft room. I don't have that luxury, but then I don't have as much craft stuff, so probably just as well.

  39. Your craft space is really great...so light and bright and roomy! I have a cheap idea for ribbon storage, or I should say one I found in a magazine or something, and you can see it near the bottom of the post I'm leaving the link to: http://giftsfromdeeyll.blogspot.com/2012/04/woyww-148.html
Hope you can stop by, maybe it will help you with the rest of your ribbons? :)

  40. Oh your crafting space is just perfect, I love it.

    Thanks for sharing.

Now that is clever, who would of thought of that apart from you. Love the colour and an excellent way to store your work. Make sure you protect each painting from each other so they don't rub together. Put a cloth in between or a sheet cut up. I hope all goes well in your art show.

    Happy crafting
