Over at Polkadoodle challenge blog today, we were asked to use handmade flowers - die cut, hand made, anything except those that come out of a jar. I chose the easy route and simply cut some flower shapes out using the George cartridge, I wanted the flowers to look casual and sort of sketchy. The papers, image and sentiment are from the Pretty Sweet CD I coloured her in with ProMarkers
Skin Ivory and Blush
Hair Saffron and Buttercup
Clothes Satin, Pastel Pink, Ice Grey 1, 2 & 3
Don't forget you have until Sunday night to enter your name for the Magical Winter Polkadoodles cartridge. Scroll down for the post.
Max has started school, his teachers told his parents that he had been a bit upset at lunchtime each day (too noisy apparently, school takes some getting used to when you are only just four). Then after a few days he announced proudly 'I didn't cry at all today Daddy, not even a dribble'...bless!

Your little girl looks so precious and your coloring is perfect. Little Max was pretty brave working through his fears. School is so terrifying for a little one especially when they haven't seen older siblings do it before them.
ReplyDeleteSweet card, Enfys. It would just break my heart to think of him sitting there crying. Glad he's adjusting. If we could just keep them sweet and innocent ;- )
ReplyDeleteCute card! Sometimes simple is the best. I love 'handmade' flowers on cards and layouts, love the bottled ones too though. Guess I just love flowers.
ReplyDeleteOh so sweet!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! What a cutie!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card as always!! I don't remember if I posted for this Magical Winter Polkadoodles cartridge already...but would love to have it!!!

Oh bless his little heart. They do say the most honest things don't they. The first couple of days have got to be tough, when it's something so very new and different. Glad that he's adjusting.
